Celebrities React to Tina Turner's Death - 'THE one. THE best.'

Celebrities are taking to social media to mourn the loss of Tina Turner.

It was confirmed that the iconic performer and celebrated Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll sadly passed away at the age of 83 on Wednesday (May 24).

As the news began circulating, so many celebrities penned tributes to the legend.

Glee star Kevin McHale was one of the first stars to react to the news, writing: “No no no no. THE one. THE best. The first to do so much that our faves do today. What an incredible story and life.”

“You were simply the BEST! Rest in power,” Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais wrote in response to the news.

Andy Cohen shared a slew of red hearts and a reference to one of Tina’s classic hits – “SIMPLY THE BEST BEST BEST. WE LOVE YOU TINA ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

“This one hits way too hard,” Josh Gad tweeted.

“Heaven gained an angel,” Ciara wrote. “Rest in Paradise Tina Turner. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us all.”

Basketball star Magic Johnson shared several photos with Tina.

“Rest in peace to one of my favorite artists of all time, the legendary queen of rock n’ roll Tina Turner,” he wrote in a first tweet. “I’ve seen her many many times and hands down, she gave one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. She always gave you your moneys worth.”

He continued, writing, “Tina would have so much energy during her performances and was a true entertainer. She created the blueprint for other great entertainers like Janet Jackson and Beyoncé and her legacy will continue on through all high-energy performing artists. Cookie and I are praying for her husband and all of her friends and family.”

“RIP Tina. She was my moms hero, she was the ultimate superhero to me too,” Kid Cudi tweeted.

“The magnificent Tina Turner has left us,” Mia Farrow wrote, sharing a broken heart emoji.

“My heart is broken. This is such sad news. Rest in peace,” Nina Garcia shared.

“RIP Tina Turner. Simply, the best,” Piers Morgan tweeted.

“You have been such a huge influence on so many. Me included. You will be forever. Rest in Power Tina Turner,” Dawn Richard wrote.

Tina suffered a horrible loss last year. She will be missed dearly.
