Katy Perry Reveals the Entertainer She Wants to Join 'American Idol' Judges Panel

Katy Perry is sharing her thought on the future of American Idol.

The 38-year-old “Teenage Dream” singer joined the ABC revival of the hit singing competition series for season 16 in 2018.

Following the season 21 finale, Katy revealed in a new interview the female entertainer she wants to join her on the judges panel.

In an interview with Buzzfeed, Katy said that she wants Lizzo to become a judge on Idol.

“I’d like Lizzo to join American Idol,” Katy said. “This is an invitation from me, Katy Perry, asking you to join the panel. I’m feeling a little outnumbered on the testosterone. I can really use some bold, honest hot takes.”
