Joe Trohman Announces Return to Fall Out Boy Following Mental Health Break

Joe Trohman is returning to Fall Out Boy!

Earlier this year in January, the 38-year-old musician announced that he was taking a break from the band to focus on his mental health.

On Monday (May 29), Joe announced his return to the band and shared an update on how he’s doing.

“Hey everyone, I’m officially back! I want to thank everyone for the love and support while I took some time away to focus on my brain and get healthy for my family, my friends and myself,” Joe wrote on Instagram.

“I also want to thank Ben Young for stepping up and filling in on the shows I missed,” Joe continued. “He is a true gentleman and a scholar.

Joe also announced that he will be reuniting with his band mates for their upcoming tour.

“I’m stoked to be back in action and I can’t wait to see everyone on tour this summer!” Joe concluded.

Fall Out Boy and Bring Me the Horizon will kick off their North American tour in their hometown of Chicago on June 21. Later this year, Fall Out Boy will head to Europe and Japan for more shows.
