Ezra Miller Will Only Do One Premiere, No Press for 'The Flash' - Here's Why (Report)

Ezra Miller is racing into theaters as Barry Allen in The Flash – their first solo movie within the DC Universe.

However, fans shouldn’t expect the 30-year-old to do too much press ahead of the release, according to a recent report.

Several sources spoke out about the decision amid questions about if a limited press tour will hurt the movie’s bottom line.

Variety reported that Ezra would only be present for one premiere ahead of the movie’s release later this month.

Ezra wants the movie to open and the conversation to be about the movie and not about Ezra,” a source told the outlet. “They are focused on their mental health and don’t want it to be transactional.”

The decision might not all have to do with the star, either. Another insider claimed that the movie is being kept under wraps to preserve a “secret ending” that hasn’t been aired in full during any preview to date.

Despite that, The Flash is expected to open with ticket sales around $75 million. Variety noted that it would be a stronger debut than Jason Momoa‘s Aquaman even.

There have already been questions about a sequel for the movie.
