Heather Rae El Moussa Responds to Accusations of Favoring Newborn Son Over Her Stepkids

Heather Rae El Moussa is addressing the mom shamers.

In a new interview, the 35-year-old Selling Sunset star addressed accusations on social media where some people claimed that she is favoring her newborn son Tristan over her two stepkids.

If you didn’t know, Heather and husband Tarek El Moussa welcomed their son in February 2023. Tarek, 41, also shares daughter Taylor, 12, and son Brayden, 7, with ex-wife Christina Hall.

While speaking with Today.com, Heather shared that she’s been receiving a lot of comments on Instagram with people asking her, “Where are the other children? Haven’t seen them on your stories lately?”

“Taylor and Brayden are in school all day, and I’m home with Tristan,” Heather responded. “I can capture moments with Tristan easily.”

Tarek and Christina, 39, have 50-50 custody of their kids, and along with their busy schedules, Heather doesn’t have time be posting photos with all three kids.

“They’re also busy with sports and tutoring — they always have something going on,” Heather explained. “I blink and it’s 8 o’clock at night. So when we’re all together, the last thing I’m doing is standing around taking photos with all three kids.”

Heather also noted that as Taylor gets older, she has become very particular about the photos Heather posts of her.

“She’s a teenager now and she’ll be like, ‘I don’t love my hair in that picture,’ ‘Please don’t post that one,’” Heather said.
