Emma Stone is Brought Back to Life in New 'Poor Things' Trailer - Watch Now!

A new trailer for Emma Stone‘s upcoming movie has been released!

The 34-year-old Oscar-winning actress is yet again teaming up with Yorgos Lanthimos, the director of The Favourite, for a new twist on the Frankenstein fantasy in the upcoming movie Poor Things.

Poor Things follows the incredible tale and fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter (Stone), a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Under Baxter’s protection, Bella is eager to learn. Hungry for the worldliness she is lacking, Bella runs off with Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo), a slick and debauched lawyer, on a whirlwind adventure across the continents. Free from the prejudices of her times, Bella grows steadfast in her purpose to stand for equality and liberation.

Yorgos is also known for directing The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Dogtooth, and The Lobster. He also has a forthcoming film titled AND. He also reunites with The Favourite writer Tony McNamara, who also wrote the screenplay for Poor Things.

Emma is also a producer on the film and she also co-stars alongside Margaret Qualley, Christopher Abbott, Jerrod Carmichael, and Ramy Youssef.
