'One Piece' Live-Action Series Becomes Top Show In 84 Countries, Just Days After Its' Premiere!

One Piece is breaking all sorts of Netflix streaming records!

The live-action adaptation of the popular manga, which was created by Eiichiro Oda, has surpassed both Wednesday, and Stranger Things, in becoming the top show in 84 total countries.

According to a screengrab from X (formerly Twitter) user newworldartur, One Piece was at the top of the charts in not only the United States, but Japan, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico, among many others.

When they debuted, Wednesday and Stranger Things both headed straight for the top spot, but only achieved this in 83 countries during their opening weekends, according to MovieWeb.

Here’s what One Piece is about: Monkey D. Luffy is a young adventurer who has longed for a life of freedom since he can remember. Luffy sets off from his small village on a perilous journey to find the legendary fabled treasure, ONE PIECE, to become King of the Pirates! But in order to find the ultimate prize, Luffy will need to assemble the crew he’s always wanted before finding a ship to sail, searching every inch of the vast blue seas, outpacing the Marines, and outwitting dangerous rivals at every turn.

The series debuted on August 31.
