In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Michael was asked what he thinks about intimacy coordinators, to which he responded, “Really? Seriously? What are they? We never had that in my day.”
Michael added, “In my day, you just did the love scene and got on with it without anyone interfering. It’s all changed.”
It’s true that the involvement of intimacy coordinators in Hollywood productions has only been on the rise in recent years, and many have underlined the importance of these crew members who help stage and ensure the comfort and safety of actors who participate in sex scenes or other sequences of an intimate nature.
