The former NFL player and his soccer star wife chatted with People about their thoughts on the seemingly budding relationship.

Kealia reflected on the enormous impact Taylor had when she showed up to cheer on Travis at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday (September 24). (There were 24.3 million viewers.) “I think it just shows how amazing she is,” she said. “She’s an icon, She’s the most famous person in the world, probably. So I think it just shows what a badass she is.”

JJ observed that the excitement over Taylor and Travis is “two mega worlds colliding.” He noted, “I think the ratings are going to go even higher every single week for the Chiefs games, which is hard because they were already one of the best teams in the league.”

The NFL analyst for CBS Sports sent them his best wishes. “It’s exciting,” he said. “I’m happy for them and hope it all works out.”

It turns out, JJ and Kealia are Swifties, and they enjoyed one of the Eras Tour shows in Arizona. “I was so impressed by the three-hour plus concert with no breaks,” the former Arizona Cardinal said. “It really is an impressive, incredible sequence.” He added, “You have to respect it. Just as a pure artist, it’s very impressive. You have to respect the concert that she puts on.”

Right now, JJ‘s favorite Taylor song is “Don’t Blame Me,” and Kealia‘s enjoying “Karma” and all of the Midnights album.
