Renee Rapp Opens Up About Idolizing Kesha Growing Up

Renee Rapp is sharing that Kesha has always been a major idol of hers!

The 23-year-old “Too Well” singer chatted with Teen Vogue about growing up musically inspired by the 36-year-old pop legend.

“She was my everything growing up,” Renee recalled to the magazine.

She added, “She’s just so… not ‘wild’ in the sense that she’s wild…she was so wild and free-spirited and hot, and seemed sure of herself, but was also really vulnerable and outspoken. And also was just the sickest.”

The Sex Lives of College Girls actress explained that Kesha is a “version of a woman in pop music that I love.”

Renee also revealed that the “top two songs” for the playlist of her life would be “He Loves My Driveway” by Kesha as well as “Breadwinner” by Kacey Musgraves.
