Hacks season four appears to pick up right where season three left off, based on the debut trailer for the new episodes!

If you don’t know, season three ended with Ava (Hannah Einbinder) blackmailing Deborah (Jean Smart). In the season three finale, Deborah lies to Ava and says the network has forced her to give the head writer job to someone else on her late night show. When Ava learns the truth, she blackmails Deborah into giving her the job by threatening to tell everyone that she slept with studio head Bob Lipka (Tony Goldwyn).
