Heidi Klum Addresses Backlash After Appearing With Daughter Leni in Lingerie Ad

Heidi Klum is addressing a controversy.

The 52-year-old model and Project Runway star got candid about her personal life and motherhood in a new interview with People.

During the conversation, she spoke about her firstborn daughter Leni, 21, whom she welcomed with Italian businessman ex Flavio Briatore, and was later adopted by Seal.

In 2023, she appeared alongside Leni in a lingerie campaign for Intimissimi, sparking some backlash online.

“A lot of people are like, ‘Oh, I don’t know about mom and daughter doing this together,’” she said of the situation.

“But for us? I’m proud of my daughter. She’s fine with me like that.”

“I’ve always been very open with my body. When I’m suntanning in the backyard, I might not have a top on. I’m European …my kids don’t know me any other way and are probably more easygoing with their bodies because of it,” she added.

She also made a rare appearance with her son recently amid his own modeling debut!
