The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is making another statement about confrontation that took place between Will Smith and Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.

During the awards show on Sunday night (March 27), the comedian was presenting an award and made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith. After she seemed upset by the joke, Will jumped on stage and slapped Chris in the face, then returned to his seat and shouted profanities at him.

The Academy released a statement about the incident a day later. They followed up with another letter on Tuesday night, condemning Will‘s actions once more and sharing an update about where they were in the investigation process.

There was a mini Alias reunion at the Oscars!

Jennifer Garner and Bradley Cooper were seen chatting in the audience during a commercial break at the 2022 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 27) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

A new photo released by a photographer in the audience shows that former co-stars reuniting for a sweet moment. For those who don’t know, Alias ran on ABC for five seasons from 2001 through 2006. Jennifer starred in the series while Bradley left after season two.

Jimmy Kimmel, a former Oscars host, is weighing in on the crazy moment between Will Smith and Chris Rock at last night’s show.

The 54-year-old late night host talked about the bizarre moment during a segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night (March 28).

“It’s now a part of our life forever, we will never stop talking about this,” he said. “It was so shocking. The only thing I can really compare it to is when Mike Tyson bit Evander Holyfield’s ears. Even Kanye was like, ‘you went on stage and did what at the award show?’.”

Beyonce opened the show at the 2022 Oscars with her performance of “Be Alive” from King Richard, but it didn’t happen live.

The 39-year-old entertainer pre-taped the performance at the Compton tennis courts at some point in the past week and then it aired at the top of the night at the 2022 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 27) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

A photographer was roaming around the venue snapping photos of celebs during commercial breaks at the 2022 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 27) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Kristen Stewart and fiancee Dylan Meyer sat at a table with longtime couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher and the posed for a photo together.

Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith were seen greeting a lot of celebs, including Jason Momoa and Jake Gyllenhaal. There are more than 70 photos in the gallery and they’re all worth seeing!
