Former Nickelodeon actress Madisyn Shipman has launched a music career and her new single is out now!

The 20-year-old singer and actress is best known for playing Kenzie Bell in the hit series Game Shakers and her other credits include The Peanuts Movie and Ordinary World.

Madisyn just dropped her new song “Jill,” which marks her fourth song to be released this summer in preparation for the release of her upcoming album.

We chatted with Madisyn to get to know her and learned 10 Fun Facts. Check them out below!

1. I’m very into personal development. I went to my first UPW before COVID and I attribute a lot of my growth to having a strong mindset. I’m constantly working on being the best version of myself. My mentor Traci Porterfield is a strong vessel in holding me accountable.
2. My debut album will have 21 songs on it in honor of my 21st birthday. All of my songs are written from my own personal experiences so I thought it was only fitting to do 21 songs for this release just in time for my birthday!
3. I made a 6 song EP when I was 9 about living in New York and being from a small town.
4. My family relationship is my greatest strength. I think it’s so important to have an open and honest relationship with your family. My mom is definitely my best friend, I tell her everything. Family is everything. I can’t wait to be a wife and mother one day!
5. Growing up I was obsessed with Anne Frank. I think the main reason I was drawn to her story was the fact we were around the same age and she documented her life in a journal the same way I have for many years. I’ve read and watched every Anne Frank related show, movie or book. I actually took a trip to Amsterdam a few years ago to visit the Anne Frank house but it was closed due to covid. Definitely need to plan another trip soon!

We got the chance to catch up with fan fave Below Deck star Captain Lee Rosbach!

The 73-year-old yacht captain has been on the Bravo series since season 1, and fans were shocked to learn he was not asked back for season 11. Captain Lee, who just teamed up with Dramamine, the motion sickness medicine, is dishing some new details about his life that are very interesting.

He has spent more than three decades yachting (and you may be surprised to learn at what age he first saw the ocean.)

We recently chatted with Captain Lee and learned 10 Fun Facts about him! See them below.

1. People are always surprised to hear I grew up in Saginaw, Michigan and never saw the ocean with my own eyes until I moved to Turks & Caicos at the age of 35.
2. I love going to the gym – whether on land or sea – I work out 7 days a week.
3. The best dish I’ve ever tasted is Chef Rachel’s French Toast, made by Below Deck’s very own Rachel Hargrove. The only thing that compares is Mary Anne’s special chocolate pie.
4. I’ve been spoiled with some of the finest chefs on board, but I’m foodie off the ship too. Before I was a captain Mary Anne and I owned 10 different restaurants across Florida, Indiana, and Turks and Caicos. I am planning to open a new restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale.
5. I was also the manager of a Wendy’s restaurant when I was first starting out and that is actually where I learned the importance of delivering great customer service.

We got a chance to catch up with Chicago P.D.‘s LaRoyce Hawkins!

If you don’t know, the 35-year-old actor has portrayed the role of Kevin Atwater on the smash-hit series since 2014 and will be back for season 11 of the NBC drama.

5. Once upon a time in Monaco, a 4-year-old French homie mistakenly recognized me as 50 Cent. I empathetically took pictures with him and his family, then surprisingly ran into 50 Cent at the Prince of Monaco’s Palace. The rest is history (and hilarious)!

R.K. Russell and Corey O’Brien are two names you’re definitely going to want to know!

If you don’t know, R.K. is a professional football player in the NFL, along with being a social justice advocate, published poet, essayist, and artist. In 2019, he came out as bisexual in a published essay, making him the first openly bisexual player in the NFL. In 2023, he published his memoir, “The Yards Between Us,” to stellar reviews.

Corey is a professional dancer and TikTok icon! He has over 1 million followers on the app and his videos grab the attention of tons of celebs. He’s a must-follow! In addition to dance, Corey is now taking the stage for his live comedy show debut, titled Corey’s First Time, tomorrow!

R.K. and Corey met in the summer of 2019 (and we have so many cute photos of them together over the years…including some beach shots!)

Anna Kloots has been described as the real-life “Emily in Paris” and now she’s sharing her story in her memoir My Own Magic: A Reappearing Act.

The author, who previously helped write sister Amanda Kloots‘ book Live Your Life, is now giving fans more insight into her own story.

“Despite what appeared to be a glamorous existence full of globetrotting adventures, behind the scenes, Anna Kloots felt invisible in her own life. Consumed by a marriage that left no space for her own desires, she chose to reframe the failure of her marriage as an opportunity to begin again. Icona Pop is back with another bop, and we want to give Just Jared readers a chance to get to know them even better!

The “I Love It” Swedish superstar duo just made the exciting announcement of their sophomore album CLUB ROMANTECH, out on September 1, accompanied by their brand new single “Where Do We Go From Here.”

The track was one of the first that Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt wrote in the fall of 2020 amid the pandemic, realizing they were unable to go to Los Angeles.

“Back in Stockholm, we formed a small crew to start making music and thought ‘what the f–k are we going to do now?’ Eclectic, fun, hard, pop, deep, mainstream, catchy, weird, late at night, early in the morning – always with a tear in the corner of the eye and a smile on our face. That’s how ‘Where Do We Go From Here’ feels and that’s how CLUB ROMANTECH feels too.”

Caroline adds: “As Icona Pop, we can release a pop tune or a super hard dance song, and that’s who we are. When we started to write this
album, we didn’t have any rules. We just had a vision we wanted to share with our fans. We’re inviting them into our world.”

“We put all of our problems and stress into what we’re doing. We love
disguising our heartbreaks and sadness in uplifting songs you can dance to. It was a
very emotional process, and it’s all in the music,” says Aino.

The record includes tracks like “Sh-t We Do for Love” with Yaeger, “Faster” and “I Want You” with Galantis, as well as “You’re Free” with Ultra Naté, “Off Of My Mind” with VIZE, “SPA” wit SOFI TUKKER and “Feels In My Body.”

Stakiah Lynn Washington is a rising young actress who is starring in the new Amazon Freevee series Primo!

The show, created by The Good Place‘s Mike Schur and journalist Shea Serrano loosely follows Serrano’s own coming of age story, being raised by a strong mom and 5 hilarious uncles in San Antonio, TX.

Stakiah plays Primo’s love interest and eventual confidant. She graduated from SMU last year and this marks her first major project!
