Adele belts out her smash hit, “Rolling in the Deep,” at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

Earlier in the evening, the 23-year-old English songstress received a standing ovation after winning Best Pop Solo Performance for “Someone Like You.”

“I should take my shoes off. I’m too tall for this … I can’t believe I’m getting emotional already,” Adele said during her acceptance speech. “I need to thank my doctors who brought my voice back.”

During the telecast, Adele also picked up the Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Short Form Music Video Awards!

It was a night filled with music and memories of the late Whitney Houston at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

The big winner of the night was Adele, who picked up six awards: Album of the Year (21), Record of the Year (“Rolling in the Deep”), Song of the Year (“Rolling in the Deep”), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Someone Like You”), Best Pop Vocal Album (21), and Best Short Form Music Video (“Rolling in the Deep”).

Other big winners included Foo Fighters with five awards, Kanye West with four awards, and Taylor Swift with two awards.

The late Amy Winehouse picked up a posthumous award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her song “Body and Soul” with Tony Bennett.

Robyn, Bonnie McKee, and Skylar Grey work the red carpet at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

Robyn was nominated for Best Dance Recording for her song “Call Your Girlfriend” but the Grammy went to Skrillex‘s “Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites.”

Skylar‘s “I Need a Doctor,” which she worked on with Dr. Dre and Eminem, was up for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. Kanye West, Rihanna, Kid Cudi, and Fergie‘s “All of the Lights” ended up taking home the award.

FYI: Skylar is wearing Loree Rodkin jewels.

Jennifer Hudson looks absolutely stunning on stage at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old singer performed a sweet and simple rendition of the classic song “I Will Always Love You” in a tribute to the late singer Whitney Houston.

It was announced last night shortly after Whitney‘s death that Jennifer would perform a tribute performance during the Grammys.

Jennifer‘s performance followed an In Memoriam segment that honored such talents as Amy Winehouse, Clarence Clemons, and Steve Jobs.

Adam Levine performs with The Beach Boys‘ Mike Love at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old Maroon 5 frontman performed “Surfer Girl” before introducing Foster the People who sang “Wouldn’t It Be Nice.”

The Beach Boys – Mike, Bruce Johnston, David Marks, Brian Wilson, and Al Jardine – then took the stage together and celebrated their 50th anniversary by treating the crowd to “Good Vibrations”!

Katy Perry rocks out on stage at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old singer, who wore a costume made by Abigail Greydanus and rocked the AllSaints “Damisi” boot, performed her hit “E.T.” and new song “Part of Me” from the special edition of her double-platinum certified album, Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection. The song will be released on iTunes tomorrow (February 13)!

“Now look at me, I’m sparking/A firework, a dancing flame/You won’t ever put me out again,” Katy sang. “So you can keep the diamond ring.” Singing about ex-husband Russell Brand, perhaps?

John Legend holds his gal Chrissy Teigen on the red carpet of the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

“Heading to the Grammys!” John tweeted in anticipation!

Chrissy is live tweeting the Grammys! “I will be tweeting alllll through the Grammys so either get excited or mute me now!” she wrote.

“O man Taylor Swift‘s dress is gorgeousssss I just touched it like a pervo” she wrote in one of her tweets.
