Jennifer Hudson is white hot while attending the 2013 Variety Power of Women event presented by Lifetime on Friday afternoon (October 4) at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 32-year-old singer and actress was joined by Prisoners‘ Maria Bello, Modern Family‘s Jesse Tyler Ferguson, New Girl‘s Hannah Simone, and Devious Maids‘ Ana Ortiz.

Jennifer was honored with the Samsung Galaxy Impact Award for her philanthropic work with the Julian D. King Gift Foundation.

Katie Lowes and Darby Stanchfield meet up while attending the 2013 Variety Power of Women event presented by Lifetime on Friday afternoon (October 4) at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The ladies were joined by their Scandal co-stars Dan Bucatinsky and Jeff Perry to support Kerry Washington, who was an honoree at the event.

The ladies both star in the new film A.C.O.D., which is now playing in limited release. Amy attended the event as an honoree for her work with the Worldwide Orphans Foundation while Jessica and her company The Honest Company sponsored a special lounge.

The ladies were both honored at the luncheon for their charitable work – Nicole for working with the UN Women and Charlize for starting the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project.

Kerry Washington and Elizabeth Banks hit the red carpet at the 2013 Variety Power of Women event presented by Lifetime on Friday afternoon (October 4) at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The ladies were both honored at the event for their charitable work – Kerry for supporting the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities and Elizabeth for her work on behalf of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement.

Kerry and Elizabeth worked together on the 2011 movie The Details with Tobey Maguire.

It was reported earlier today that Kerry‘s series Scandal broke ratings records with its season three premiere this week. Amazing!
