Kevin Hart poses on the orange carpet with his girlfriend Eniko Parrish and his two children at the 2014 Kids’ Choice Awards held at the USC Galen Center on Saturday (March 29) in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old actor picked up the award for Favorite Funny Star at the awards show, beating out Kaley Cuoco, Andy Samberg (pictured inside presenting on stage), and Sofia Vergara.

Adam Sandler was in attendance at the show and won the award for Favorite Movie Actor for his work in Grown Ups 2.

Many fans were wondering why Jennette McCurdy was missing from the 2014 Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (March 29) and now she is speaking out on why she was not there.

The 21-year-old actress, who gained stardom on iCarly, was nominated for Favorite TV Actress for her work on the spinoff series Sam & Cat. Her co-star Ariana Grande ended up taking home the award.

“A lot of you guys are asking why I didn’t attend the KCAs…. I wish I could explain everything as thoroughly as I would like to, but unfortunately a simpler explanation is all I can write. I was put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation (many of you have guessed what it is) and I had to look out for me,” Jennette said on Twitter. “I chose to not go because sticking up for what is right and what is fair is what my mom taught me is ALWAYS the most important thing. I want to thank those of you who have reached out with kind words of support, McCurdians and Arianators alike. No matter who or what you support, I believe in supporting fairness first. If you have done that, thank you.”

The 39-year-old actress did not make an appearance on the show, nor was she nominated for an award, so she was just there to have a good time!

Also in attendance were Jim Parsons, who slimed the crowd with the help of his Big Bang Theory math skills, and Instant Mom‘s Tia Mowry-Hardrict.

The 48-year-old actor picked up the award for Favorite Male Buttkicker for his work in Iron Man 3. He beat out The Lone Ranger‘s Johnny Depp, The Wolverine‘s Hugh Jackman, and G.I. Joe: Retaliation‘s Dwayne Johnson.

“This is the highest honor yet bestowed on me – I’m grateful, humble, the whole deal,” Robert said during his speech. “You know I wasn’t always a buttkicker. In fact, life has kicked my proverbial butt countless times in many ways for many years, until I decided one day to start kicking back. Now look at me!”

Mark Wahlberg gets covered in gooey green slime as the finale to the 2014 Kids’ Choice Awards held at the USC Galen Center on Saturday (March 29) in Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old Transformers: Age of Extinction actor hosted the show and a running joke all evening was that there was no way to get him slimed. Finally at the last moment of the show, his adorable kids pulled the trigger and were able to get their dad covered in goo.
