Audra McDonald hits the red carpet with her husband Will Swenson before winning at the 2014 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 8) in New York City.

The 43-year-old actress won the award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play for her work in Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill.

Audra made history that evening as she is the first person to receive six acting Tony Awards and also the first person to win an award in each leading and featured category. Congratulations, Audra!

Anika Noni Rose and Sophie Okonedo hit the red carpet at the 2014 Tony Awards on Sunday evening (June 8) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The ladies were joined by their A Raisin in the Sun co-star LaTanya Richardson Jackson, who brought her husband Samuel L. Jackson for support.

Sophie beat out Anika and the other nominees to win the award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play for her work in the play.

Fantasia Barrino, Gladys Knight, and Patti LaBelle belt out “Sunny Side of the Street” from their musical After Midnight during the 2014 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 8) in New York City.

The trio of fabulous singers opened the show the raucous applause from the audience. Watch their performance below! After they sang, their co-star Dule Hill hit the stage to dance a number from the show.

After Midnight is nominated for Best Musical tonight at the show. We’ll have to watch to the end to see who takes home the prize!

Rosie O’Donnell hits the stage to accept an award at the 2014 Tony Awards on Sunday evening (June 8) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The 52-year-old entertainer, who was joined by her love Michelle Rounds, was the recipient of the 2014 Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award for her work with Rosie’s Theater Kids and bringing theater to young kids around New York City.

“I was stunned, number one, and then my second thought was, ‘Please tell me it looks like a real Tony,’” Rosie previously said about her win. “Whenever anyone comes to my house, I’m going to tell them this was for Best Performance by an Actress in a Musical, and I was against Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel… but I won… It’s a huge thrill and great honor and probably the only way I’ll ever get a Tony in my life, but it’s good enough for me.”

Hugh Jackman kneels down in excitement after finishing his opening number at the 2014 Tony Awards on Sunday evening (June 8) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The 45-year-old actor literally bounced his way through the entire opening segment while making his way through the backstage area of the theater and passing by the actors who would be performing during the show.

The opening number was a continuation of the video Hugh posted on Twitter last week, in which he bounced all around the Big Apple.

Orlando Bloom is super dapper in a tux while hitting the red carpet at the 2014 Tony Awards on Sunday evening (June 8) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Also in attendance as a presenter that evening was Lucy Liu. Both of the stars have appeared on Broadway in recent years – Orlando in Romeo & Juliet and Lucy in God of Carnage.
