Marion Cotillard looks out of this world while making her appearance at the 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards held on Saturday afternoon (February 21) at the beach in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 39-year-old actress was nominated for Best Female Lead for her work in The Immigrant, but lost out to Julianne Moore.

Earlier that same day, Marion left LAX Airport after landing on an arriving flight into town.

The best in indie films were honored at the 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards held on Saturday afternoon (February 21) at the beach in Santa Monica, Calif.

Some of the big winners at the show were Best Feature winner Birdman, Boyhood, which took home Best Director for Richard Linklater and Best Supporting Female for Patricia Arquette, and Nightcrawler, which was awarded Best First Feature for its team and Best Screenplay for Dan Gilroy.

Other winners at the show included Whiplash and the documentary Citizenfour.

Jared Leto wears an intricate blue jacket while presenting an award on stage at the 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards held on Saturday afternoon (February 21) at the beach in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 43-year-old actor took to the stage to present the award for Best Supporting Male, which he won at last year’s show, to JK Simmons for his work in Whiplash.

David Oyelowo is joined by his co-star and producer Oprah Winfrey on the pink carpet at the 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards held on Saturday afternoon (February 21) at the beach in Santa Monica, Calif.

The two stars were there to support their movie Selma, which was nominated for five awards including Best Picture and Best Male Lead for David.

Also in attendance were Best Supporting Female nominee Carmen Ejogo, Best Director nominee Ava DuVernay, and tomorrow’s Oscar nominee Common.

The night before, Common hosted a pre-Oscar celebration for the film sponsored by CÎROC at Ysabel in West Hollywood.

FYI: Carmen is wearing a Roksanda jumpsuit, Casadei shoes, and a Rodo clutch. Common is wearing Lanvin.

Michael Keaton and JK Simmons suit up while attending the 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards held on Saturday afternoon (February 21) at the beach in Santa Monica, Calif.

The guys were there as nominees for their work in Birdman and Whiplash, respectively. They are also frontrunners for the Oscars tomorrow night!

Michael was joined on the carpet by his director, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, while JK brought along his wife Michelle Schumacher.

The Grand Budapest Hotel‘s Adrien Brody was also seen in attendance at the awards show that afternoon.
