Emily Blunt looks lovely in her sheer blue dress at the 2016 National Board of Review Awards Gala on Tuesday night (January 5) at Cipriani in New York City.

The 32-year-old actress was joined at the event by her Sicario co-star Benicio Del Toro. Their movie was honored with the Spotlight Award for Outstanding Creative Vision.

Cast members from The Big Short – Finn Wittrock, Rafe Spall, Hamish Linklater, and Jeremy Strong – along with director Adam McKay stepped out to accept the Best Ensemble Award.

Also in attendance were Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard, Jason Segal, and Creed‘s Tessa Thompson.

Brie Larson looks stunning as she hits the carpet at the 2016 National Board of Review Awards Gala on Tuesday night (January 5) at Cipriani in New York City.

The 26-year-old actress was joined at the event by her Room co-star Jacob Tremblay.

Both of the stars were award winners that night. Brie won the award for Best Actress while Jacob was honored with the Best Breakthrough Performance award.

Jennifer Jason Leigh was in attendance to accept the award for Best Supporting Actress and she received support from her The Hateful Eight co-stars Samuel L. Jackson and Walton Goggins.

Over the weekend, Brie shared a funny photo of Jacob on Instagram and explained why he is her role model. “@jacobtremblay is my role model. Especially when he wears a very fashion napkin cape to unsuccessfully keep the chocolate and crumbs off his tuxedo,” she captioned the below pic.

Jessica Chastain is gorgeous in green while attending the 2016 National Board of Review Awards Gala on Tuesday night (January 5) at Cipriani in New York City.

The Oscar-nominated actress was in attendance to support her movie The Martian, which was named one of the Top 10 Films of the Year. Her co-star Matt Damon won the Best Actor award and director Ridley Scott won the award for Best Director.

Matt‘s award was presented by Robert De Niro, who walked the red carpet with wife Grace Hightower.

During his speech, Matt thanked Sylvester Stallone, who won the award for Best Supporting Actor for his work in Creed. Matt said that he and Ben Affleck held out to star in their movie Good Will Hunting because Sly did the same with Rocky years ago.

Kristen Stewart steps out on the carpet in a short white dress at the 2016 National Board of Review Awards Gala on Tuesday night (January 5) at Cipriani in New York City.

The 25-year-old actress does not have a film being honored at the event, but she stepped out to present the NBR Freedom of Expression Award to Beasts of No Nation‘s Cary Fukunaga.

Kristen also taped an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that evening and the interview will air later tonight!
