She belted out her fun jam “Pink Sunglasses” from her latest album The Weight of These Wings – and made sure that everyone in audience had a pair of pink glasses to wear during the performance!
“It felt like summer and festive and perfect for [the CMT Awards],” Miranda said before the show.

Miranda Lambert – “Pink Sunglasses” at 2017 CMT Awards
The country stars commanded the crowd during their performance at the Music City Center on Wednesday evening (June 7) in Nashville, Tenn.
Carrie and Keith started off with a totally stripped-down intro before picking up the tempo and bringing the song back to its original beat.
“OK, everybody, this is special,” host and Nashville star Charles Esten introduced the duo. “We’ve got something truly incredible for you right now. You’ve all heard Keith and Carrie sing their smash hit ‘The Fighter,’ but I guarantee you’ve never heard it like this.”
“The Fighter” earned Carrie and Keith the award for Collaborative Video of the Year! Carrie also won Female Video of the Year for “Church Bells,” while Keith took home the awards for Video of the Year for “Blue Ain’t Your Color” as well as Social Superstar of the Year.

It was a great night of celebrating the best in country music at the 2017 CMT Music Awards held at Music City Center on Wednesday night (June 7) in Nashville, Tenn.
There were a bunch of performances from some of the biggest names in the genre and awards were given out based on fan votes.
Keith Urban went in leading the pack with four nominations and took home the top prize of Video of the Year for “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” in addition to Male Video of the Year and Social Superstar of the Year.
Carrie Underwood also won big with Female Video of the Year for “Church Bells.” Then she and Keith won Collaborative Video of the Year for “The Fighter.”

The 38-year-old actress brought along her husband Josh Kelley as her date for country music’s big night held at the Music City Center on Wednesday evening (June 7) in Nashville, Tenn.
She was joined by Ashton Kutcher, who snapped this pic with country star Reba McEntire and his That ’70s Show co-star Danny Masterson. (See the full pic in our gallery.)
“Arrived in Nashville last night and decided to eschew my usual martini in favor of the locals drink of choice…whiskey!” Katherine captioned the Instagram photo below. “This cocktail is called the Tennessee Waltz and was made to perfection by the lovely bartender at The Oak Bar in The Hermitage Hotel. They were so tasty I had to have two…what can I say, when in Rome…😏🥃🥃😳.”
