Dierks Bentley and Jake Owen hit the red carpet at the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (April 15) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The guys were both dressed in colorful suits and they were joined Dierks‘ wife Cassidy Black and Jake‘s girlfriend Erica Hartlein.

Some of the other country stars in attendance were Russell Dickerson with wife Kailey, Brantley Gilbert with wife Amber Cochran, Chris Lane, and Dustin Lynch.

Dierks was nominated for Video of the Year and Russell was up for New Male Vocalist of the Year.

FYI: Russell is wearing head-to-toe custom Giorgio Verdi with a Girard Perregaux watch.

Kenny Chesney is starting the party!

The country superstar kicked off the show’s first performance with “Get Along” during the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (April 15) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The performer kept it cool in a sleeveless T-shirt and a cowboy hat as he brought the energy to the awards show. Kenny is set to embark on a tour starting this summer with the 2018 Trip Around the Sun Tour, and “Get Along” is the first offering from his upcoming album.

“See you this summer!” he told the crowd. See pictures from the performance below!

The 28-year-old country singer, who walked the red carpet with her new husband, sang her new song “Rich” at the show.

Maren had giant letters spelling out “RICH” on the stage and the show’s host Reba McEntire joked after the performance that she took the letters from singer Jon Rich‘s front yard.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are too cute together!

The couple snuggled up together in the audience at the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (April 15) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Blake has a big night ahead of him: he’s performing “I Lived It,” as well as teaming up with Toby Keith for a performance of “Should’ve Been a Cowboy.”

He’s also nominated for Single Record of the Year for “I’ll Name the Dogs.”

FYI: Gwen is wearing a David Koma dress and Casadei boots.

Reba McEntire appears on stage for her opening monologue at the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (April 15) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The legendary country singer opened the show by talking about equality for women and she called out the lack of female nominees in the Entertainer of the Year category.

“Have you seen the Entertainer of the Year category? Five men, no women. Looks like singles night at the Holiday Inn,” she joked.

Reba also pointed out how she’s hosting the show solo after years of two men hosting together.

“This year I’m following some guys who have done such a great job as hosts. Luke and Dierks, and before that, Luke and Blake. I guess they finally figured out that it only takes one woman to do the job of two men… I really do love you both, all three of you,” she said.

Country stars are paying tribute to those we lost during the Route 91 Harvest Festival last year.

Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris and Thomas Rhett all took part in the emotional tribute at the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (April 15) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Jason pointed out that it’s the first time many of the stars reunited in the area since the shooting took place.

“Music helps us remember what really matters in life,” said Luke.

Congratulations are in order for country singer Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane – they just welcomed twin boys into the world!

The news was announced at the 2018 ACM Awards on Sunday (April 15) after Chris won the award for Album of the Year.

Chris was not in attendance to accept the award and host Reba McEntire got on stage to explain his absence and announce the happy news.

“I want to second that, Chris, congratulations, but that’s only the second biggest news. You know, Chris couldn’t be here because Morgane‘s expecting twins… we just found out that those little rascals came a bit early,” Reba said. “Hot off the press, twin boys!”

Chris and Morgane are the parents of two other children as well.
