Mahershala Ali is joining the Marvel universe!

It was announced at the Marvel panel at the 2019 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 20) that the 45-year-old two-time Oscar winning actor will be starring in the upcoming Blade reboot.

Mahershala will be playing Blade the Vampire hunter – who was previously played by Wesley Snipes in three movies in the early 2000s.

As of right now, no other information has been revealed about the reboot.

Marvel also announced when tons of their Phase Four movies will be hitting theaters!

Natalie Portman is getting ready take on the role of female Thor!

The 38-year-old Oscar-winning actress hit the stage carrying Thor’s hammer for the Marvel panel at the 2019 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 20)

Joining Natalie on stage was director Taika Waititi along with co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson as they promoted the new Thor: Love and Thunder.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be released on Nov. 5, 2021.

Marvel has taken over the 2019 Comic-Con!

The universe announced a whole slew of new projects and movies for Phase Four at the festival on Saturday (July 20) in San Diego, Calif.

Directors and cast members promoted their new movies while also revealing when they will be hitting theaters.

It was also revealed that this Oscar winner will be starring in an upcoming movie!

Marvel also announced that Avengers: Endgame has become the highest grossing movie of all time, beating out Avatar.

Natalie Portman will be returning for the upcoming Thor movie!

After skipping out on the third Thor film, Thor: Ragnarok, the 38-year-old actress will be returning as Jane Foster in Thor: Love and Thunder alongside Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson.

The big news was revealed during the 2019 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 20), where director Taika Waititi revealed that the film will be following the direction from Jason Aaron‘s The Mighty Thor comics – which introduced readers to a female Thor.

During the panel, Natalie came out on stage holding a hammer – confirming that she will be the female Thor!

Thor: Love and Thunder will be in theaters on Nov. 5, 2021.

Melissa Benoist cuddles up with her Supergirl co-stars at 2019 Comic-Con!

The 30-year-old actress – showing off a brand-new hairdo with bangs – attended the Supergirl Special Video Presentation and Q&A at San Diego Convention Center on Saturday (July 20) in San Diego.

She was joined by her co-stars Jesse Rath, Nicole Maines, Mehcad Brooks, Azie Tesfai, Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Katie McGrath, Andrea Brooks, and Jon Cryer.

The cast shared an adorable group hug around Mehcad, who will be leaving the CW series in season five.

At the event, Melissa revealed the official first look at Supergirl’s new Kryptonian supersuit. See it in our gallery!

In addition, the show’s producers announced that two new characters will be joining the action in National City for the upcoming season: DC’s Andrea Rojas (aka Acrata), played by Veronica Mars‘ Julie Gonzalo, and renowned reporter William Dey, played by Game of Thrones’ Staz Nair.

Season five of Supergirl premieres on October 6.

KJ Apa leads the way as he and his Riverdale co-stars board the IMDb Yacht on Saturday afternoon (July 20) in San Diego, Calif.

The 22-year-old actor was joined on the boat by co-stars Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, and Madelaine Petsch.

The cast attended the event held during the 2019 Comic-Con to promote the new season of their CW series.

Rivedale season four will premiere on October 9th on The CW.

Arrow has found a new cast member in Charlie Barnett!

The 31-year-old Russian Doll actor will play John Diggle, Jr. in the new season, The CW revealed at 2019 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 20) in San Diego.

John Diggle’s other son, John Diggle, Jr. – known as J.J. – is the “Flashpoint-born son of John Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla Michaels (Audrey Marie Anderson). We meet J.J. in the future as the leader of the Deathstroke Gang, where he faces off against Mia and his adopted brother, Connor,” according to a press release.

Charlie Barnett joins previously announced fellow new series regulars Katherine McNamara, Joseph David-Jones, and Ben Lewis as Mia Smoak, Connor Hawke, and Oliver Queen’s adopted son, William Clayton, respectively.

Arrow returns for its final season on October 15!
