Billboard Music Awards 2020 - How to Watch & Stream!

The 2020 Billboard Music Awards are on tonight (October 14)!

The annual music awards show, which was originally postponed amid the pandemic, will be airing live on Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT exclusively on NBC, live from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

To watch, you can tune into NBC with a cable subscription. And for streaming options, NBC is carried on most major live TV streaming platforms, including Sling TV, fuboTV, Hulu With Live TV, AT&T TV and YouTube TV. For more, head to NBC.com.

Kelly Clarkson will be hosting the show, as well as performing.

2020 Billboard Music Awards Nominations Revealed - See Full List of Nominees!

The postponed 2020 Billboard Music Awards are set to take place in just a few weeks and the nominees have finally been revealed!

The nominees were slowly revealed on Twitter all morning by the official Twitter account. Post Malone has the most nominations as he’s nominated 16 times in 15 categories! Lil Nas X has 13 and Billie Eilish has 12, with Khalid also landing 12 noms.

If you don’t know, the BBMAs routinely air in May every year. However, this year, they were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused so many Hollywood events to pause for the time being.

Now, the BBMAs will kick off on Wednesday (October 14). Kelly Clarkson is set to return as the host of the show again this year. This year’s Icon recipient is country singer Garth Brooks.

Billboard Music Awards 2020 Gets a New Date, Kelly Clarkson to Host Live Event

NBC just announced that the 2020 Billboard Music Awards will take place live on October 14!

The event was originally scheduled to take place on April 29 in Las Vegas, but it was postponed due to the pandemic.

Kelly Clarkson is returning to host the event for the third year in a row, though no other details about the show are known at this time.

MTV is moving forward with the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards later this month, but the network had to cancel plans to host a live show in the Barclays Center in New York City. The event is now being held outdoors in various locations around the city and no live audience is expected.

The Emmy Awards are taking place in September, but the show will happen virtually with nominees and winners appearing via Zoom.

Billboard Music Awards 2020 Postponed Due To Coronavirus

The 2020 Billboard Music Awards are officially being postponed amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

“In accordance with the current guidelines set forth by national and local health officials and in order to ensure the health and safety of our artists, fans, guests and staff – we are postponing the Billboard Music Awards,” producers said in a statement (via Billboard). “For more than two decades, the Billboard Music Awards has honored the best in music based on the Billboard charts, and we look forward to celebrating the incredible artists who topped those charts over the last year.”

They added a new date would be revealed in the future. Originally, the show was set for April 29 in Las Vegas. Kelly Clarkson was set to return as host for the show.

Kelly previously hosted the show both in 2018 and 2019, and will be back for the 2020 host.
