Two of the stars of Rent are together again!

Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp reunited for a performance during the 2020 Tony Awards on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.

While on stage, Adam and Anthony performed “What You Own.”

If you didn’t know, Adam and Anthony starred together as Roger and Mark in Rent when it first debuted on Broadway 25 years ago, back in 1996. They also starred in the London run of Rent in 1998.

Adam and Anthony reprised their roles in the film adaptation of Rent, which was released in 2005.

The two returned to Rent on Broadway for a run from July 2007 to October 2007. Anthony and Adam also reprised their roles for the national tour of Rent in 2009.

The cast of Jagged Little Pill performed some of Alanis Morissette‘s hit songs during the 2020 Tony Awards broadcast!

Elizabeth Stanley and Celia Rose Gooding performed two songs from the musical during the Broadway’s Back portion of the night on Sunday (September 26) in New York City.

The performance was filmed live at the Broadhurst Theatre, where the show is performed nightly. It will be returning to Broadway next month!

Celia kicked things off with co-star Antonio Cipriano by performing “Ironic” and that transitioned into her performing “All I Really Want” with Elizabeth.

For those who don’t know, Celia will not be returning to the musical as she decided to take a role in the upcoming Paramount+ series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. She walked the red carpet earlier in the night with her mom, who is a Broadway legend!

Tituss Burgess and Andrew Rannells are putting a new spin on a Broadway classic!

Tituss, 42, and Andrew, 43, took to the stage for a performance during the 2020 Tony Awards on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.

The two Broadway stars performed the song the romantic song “It Takes Two” from Into the Woods during the awards show.

As they finished their performance, Tituss and Andrew gave each other a kiss on the cheek as the audience gave them a standing ovation.

Tituss and Andrew‘s performance proved to be one of the most memorable moments of the night, and people on Twitter loved every second of it.

“I don’t know what we did to deserve Tituss Burgess and Andrew Rannells singing ‘It Takes Two’ from Into the Woods but. Thanks for this. #TonyAwards,” one person tweeted.

Another tweeted, “I will never be able to stop thinking about that performance. Andrew Rannells and Tituss Burgess I love you.”

Nicolette Robinson gets serenaded by husband Leslie Odom, Jr., on stage at the 2020 Tony Awards on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.

The real life married couple took over the stage to perform “You Matter To Me” from Waitress. Nicolette actually played Jenna in the Broadway play.

Broadway fans around the world right now are probably freaking out over the reunion of Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel!

The former Wicked co-stars came together to perform the song “For Good” at the Tony Awards Presents: Broadway’s Back event on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.

Kristin and Idina were part of a “duets” section at the end of the night, which also included reunions of Rent co-stars Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal and Ragtime co-stars Audra McDonald and Brian Stokes Mitchell.

For those who don’t know, Kristin and Idina originated the roles of Glinda and Elphaba in the Broadway musical Wicked back in 2003. It has been nearly 18 years since the show opened and it’s still going strong on the Great White Way.

Kristin won a Tony Award back in 1999 for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Idina won a Tony Award in 2004 for her performance in Wicked.

There was an incredible In Memoriam tribute at the 2020 Tony Awards.

Broadway legends like Kelli O’Hara, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Norm Lewis, Bernadette Peters, and Robbie Fairchild all participated in the tribute on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.

Bernadette kicked things off by giving a speech to help Broadway say goodbye to those we’ve lost over the past year and a half. Robbie then gave a dance performance which was followed by Brian performing “The Impossible Dream” from Man of La Mancha. Kelli and Norm ended the segment with a stunning performance of “Somewhere” from West Side Story.

Ali Stroker takes over the stage for a moving performance at the 2020 Tony Awards on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.

The 34-year-old actress wore a chic red velvet dress for the annual ceremony, where she won Featured Actress in a Musical in 2019.

Taking the stage, Ali performed a stunning rendition of “What I Did For Love”.
