Team Australia's Ariarne Titmus Swim Coach Goes Wild After She Wins Gold In 400m Freestyle

Dean Boxall completely lost it as Ariarne Titmus won the 400m Freestyle Final during the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan on Monday (July 26).

Ariarne, 20, edged out Team USA’s Katie Ledecky to pick up the gold medal in the event and Dean could not contain his excitement.

In the video, Dean excitedly pulls off his mask and yells in celebration, as well as a few hip thrusts in excitement.

“I think I went outside of my body,” he told Sports Illustrated. “I just lost it.”

Dean added, “I can’t help it. believe in my athletes. It’s very simple, when the athletes leave the pool deck…they begin the recovery process and they switch off. I go home and try to find a way for them to get better. I don’t turn it off. That’s probably why I let it out.”

Ariarne will compete in three more events: the 200 and 1,500-meter freestyles and the 800-meter relay.

U.S. Gymnast Alec Yoder Goes from DoorDash Driver to Olympian - See Photos from His First Event!

Alec Yoder is one stop closer to achieving his Olympic dreams!

The 24-year-old gymnast from Indiana advanced to the finals on pommel horse during his first event at the 2021 Summer Olympics on Saturday night (July 24) in Tokyo, Japan.

Alec will compete with the seven other finalists on August 1.

Did you know that Alec was a late addition to the Olympics team? He was previously left off the national team despite winning pommel horse at the 2020 and 2021 Winter Cups.

Because he was ineligible for a USA Gymnastics stipend, Alec took a job as a DoorDash delivery driver to make ends meet while preparing for the Olympics.

Pita Taufatofua, the Hot Tongan Flag-Bearer, Is Shirtless & Oiled Up Again for Olympics Opening Ceremony!

Pita Taufatofua became a viral sensation at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics when he put his shirtless and oiled-up body on display during the opening ceremony.

The 37-year-old taekwondo competitor is back for the 2021 Summer Olympics and he looked so hot while appearing at the opening ceremony on Friday (July 23) at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo, Japan.

Pita was one of two flag-bearers for Tonga this year, joining fellow taekwondo athlete Malia Paseka. She is the country’s first female athlete to compete in the sport!

“When the Chef de Mission announced that the one officially chosen to be the flag bearer was from taekwondo I was like ‘oh yeah, it will be Pita,’ but to my surprise they said it would be me,” Paseka told Radio New Zealand. “I was really happy and honored, but I was also quite shocked.”

She added, “I’m really excited but a bit nervous too because this is really new for me. I’ve been to many competitions before, but this is my first Olympic Games and I’m just thankful really for the opportunity to be representing my country and that they trust me to be the flagbearer.”

Pita also showed up at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea!

Naomi Osaka had the honor of lighting the Olympic cauldron during the opening ceremony of the Tokyo games!

The 23-year-old Japanese tennis player climbed the peak that was inspired by Mount Fuji to light the flame on Friday night (July 23) at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo, Japan.

The identity of the person who lights the cauldron is always kept a mystery until the last moment. As Naomi walked to the center of the stage and approached the mountain, a staircase emerged so she could walk to the top and light the cauldron.

The event took place in the local evening hours of Friday (July 23) at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo, Japan.

Representatives of the Olympic teams from around the world appeared during the opening ceremony and world leaders were in the nearly empty crowd to cheer on their countries.

The United States’ First Lady Jill Biden was at the event to cheer on Team USA!

Tennis player Naomi Osaka, who is on Team Japan, had the honor of lighting the Olympic flame at the end of the relay.
