Ariana DeBose performed a medley of songs from the best musicals of all time for her opening number at the 2022 Tony Awards!

The 31-year-old Oscar-winning actress is hosting the annual show on Sunday (June 12) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

After performing the opening number, Ariana paid tribute to the previous season of Broadway shows and how inclusive they were.

“Let’s just say, for many of you it’s been a rollercoaster,” Ariana told the crowd. “I am so proud that the theater is becoming more reflective of the community who adores it, and in doing so, has gained new performers, new creatives, new fans. It has shown us stories that have broadened our world and opened our hearts and our minds. And while we have not solved all of our problems, I feel like the phrase ‘Great White Way’ is becoming more of a nickname as opposed to a how-to guide.”

Sarah Paulson is going glam on the red carpet!

The 47-year-old Emmy-winning actress flashed a smirk for the cameras while arriving at the 2022 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 12) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

For the event, Sarah sparkled in a structured gold dress covered in multi-colored gems.

Ruth Negga makes a grand entrance in a gorgeous gown for the 2022 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 12) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The 40-year-old actress is nominated at the show for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for Macbeth.

Ruth is nominated alongside The Skin of Our Teeth‘s Gabby Beans, Trouble In Mind‘s LaChanze, Dana H.‘s Deirdre O’Connell, and How I Learned To Drive‘s Mary-Louise Parker.

Uzo Aduba is a first-time nominee at The Tonys!

The 41-year-old actress is up for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play at the 2022 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 12) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Uzo is nominated for her work in the show Clyde’s and her co-star Kara Young is also nominated in the same category. Their co-star Ron Cephas Jones was in attendance as he’s nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play.

Clyde’s is also up for Best Play and Best Costume Design of a Play.

“Baby’s first time✨,” Uzo wrote on Instagram.

For the event, Jennifer dazzled in a black off the shoulder dress with a silver metallic bodice.

Jennifer is nominated tonight for Best Musical for producing the hit show A Strange Loop.

If the musical wins, Jennifer will officially become an EGOT winner – meaning she’s won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.

Jennifer will then join this very prestigious list of 16 other stars and entertainers that are also have achieved EGOT level.

The stars of the hit Broadway musical A Strange Loop are at the Tonys!

Jaquel Spivey, who is nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical, hit the red carpet at the 2022 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 12) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

He was joined at the show by co-stars L Morgan Lee, John-Andrew Morrison, and Antwayn Hopper, as well as writer Michael R. Jackson.

Lee is up for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical, marking the first time an openly transgender performer has been nominated, and Morrison is nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical.

Jackson is nominated for both Best Original Score and Best Book of a Musical.

A Strange Loop is also up for Best Musical!

Jessica Chastain is a vision in pink while arriving at the 2022 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 12) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The 45-year-old recent Oscar winner hit the red carpet ahead of the award ceremony, where she will be presenting on stage.

Jessica has made her love of the color pink well known and was pictured wearing another chic style in the same color for HBO’s Scenes From a Marriage Screening and Conversation last month.

Just recently, Jessica has been busy filming with Anne Hathaway on Mother’s Instinct. The two actresses were seen in period costume shooting some scenes for the film in New Jersey.
