It was announced today that HBO has canceled Westworld after four seasons, but there’s some good news for the cast.

The main cast will still be paid for the planned fifth season, even though it’s no longer happening.

Deadline reports that the cast had “pay-or-play deals” for the fifth season and their options came up last year, before season four had aired. HBO decided to exercise the options for the cast and now the actors are entitled to paydays for season five.
