Zachary Quinto and Calista Flockhart are set to appear in a Los Angeles production of the classic play Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

The two stars will lead the Geffen Playhouse’s production, which begins performances on April 19 ahead of opening night on April 28.

Here is the synopsis of the Edward Albee play: George (Quinto) and Martha (Flockhart), the American theater’s most notoriously dysfunctional couple, have invited the young and naive Nick and Honey over for drinks. What begins as harmless patter escalates to outright marital warfare, with the provincial newcomers caught in the crossfire.

The smash hit Amazon Prime Video series The Boys has a college-set spinoff series in the works and a new report has revealed that two lead actors have left the project.

The series has been in the works for about a year and a half and after it was finally given a greenlight in September 2021, new showrunners came on board.

The spinoff is “set at America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes.”

We’ve been hearing about the spinoff for The Boys for a while now and the show has finally been ordered to series!

The upcoming series will be a college-set spinoff featuring some young superheroes. Craig Rosenberg, who was previously set to be the showrunner, departed the series due to creative differences with Amazon and Sony Pictures TV.

Now, Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, the showrunners of the Marvel series Agent Carter, will take control of the series.

Aimee Carrero got mixed up in a controversy that led to the Twitter trend #IStandWithLesbianBabadook, even though this had nothing to do with the movie The Babadook.

It all started when Aimee, best known for her voice work on She-Ra and Elena of Avalor, tweeted something that seemed to be directed at Bernie Sanders supporters. Many of his supporters voiced their displeasure with Joe Biden becoming the democratic presidential nominee and some say they won’t vote for him.

“They didn’t have the exact shoe I wanted so I think I’ll walk on a bed of nails barefoot for 4 more years,” Aimee tweeted.

Someone with the Twitter username @lesbianbabadook tweeted in response, “when the class war starts and I gotta put the voice of she-ra in a guillotine.”

The fan deleted the tweet and Aimee then tweeted out a screencap to put that person on blast. She was then called out for publicly calling out someone with significantly less followers and sending her fans out on that person. So, some people started the trend to say they were standing by that fan.

Aimee then spoke out to defend herself against death threats.

Following the 58-year-old actor’s response to Anthony Rapp‘s allegation that he attempted to make a pass on the 46-year-old Star Trek actor when he was just 14 years old on Sunday (October 29), stars are bashing Kevin for coming out as a gay man in his statement – seemingly to deflect from his alleged behavior.

“Kevin Spacey sexually assaulting a minor has nothing to do with homosexuality. Also, someone should explain this to #KevinSpacey,” wrote Aimee.

“Nope to Kevin Spacey‘s statement. Nope. There’s no amount of drunk or closeted that excuses or explains away assaulting a 14-year-old child,” added Dan.

Disney is finally introducing its very first Hispanic princess with Elena of Avalor.

The character will make her debut in 2016 on the Disney Junior show, Sofia the First.

Elena is described as “a confident and compassionate teenager in an enchanted fairy tale kingdom inspired by diverse Latin cultures and folklore,” according to a statement from the network.

The character will be brought to life by Aimee Carrero of ABC Family’s Young & Hungry.

After debuting on Sofia the First, Princess Elena will get her own spin-off series that same year.
