The 66-year-old TV anchor co-hosted the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday (November 26), and viewers were relieved to see him on-air as usual.

His appearance comes just two weeks after undergoing a five-hour surgery for prostate cancer.

Al appeared in a series of photos shared by the Today Twitter account, and can be seen posing with plenty of celebrity guests, including Jimmy Fallon.

“After a routine check-up in September, turns out I have prostate cancer. And it’s a good news-bad news kind of thing. We’re glad to see he is feeling good!

Al Roker Reveals He Has Prostate Cancer

Al Roker is revealing a diagnosis.

The 66-year-old Today show co-host announced on Friday’s show (November 6) that he has prostate cancer, and will soon undergo surgery.

“After a routine check-up in September, turns out I have prostate cancer. And it’s a good news-bad news kind of thing. The good news is we caught it early, not great news is that it’s a little aggressive so I’m going to be taking some time off to take care of this,” he explained.

The diagnosis was discovered due to his high prostate-specific antigen level, discovered during a physical on September 29. He then underwent an MRI and a biopsy, which confirmed his diagnosis.

He will have his prostate removed and said he hopes to return to the NBC program in two weeks.

“I don’t want people thinking, ‘Poor Al’ because I’m going to be OK,” he assured.

Our best thoughts go to Al Roker in his recovery.

'Today Show' Hosts Pay Tribute to Broadway with Their Halloween Costumes!

The hosts of The Today Show are paying tribute to the musicals of Broadway with their Halloween costumes this year!

The show’s hosts dressed up on Friday (October 30) at their studio at Rockefeller Center in New York City.

Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb went as Elphaba and Glinda from Wicked, Sheinelle Jones and Dylan Dryer were Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart from Chicago, Jenna Bush Hager was Grizabella from Cats, and Craig Melvin and Al Roker were Alexander Hamilton and King George III from Hamilton.

Sheinelle and Dylan did a fully choreographed routine to the “Hot Honey Rag” from Chicago while the other stars all lip-synced to songs from their musicals.

Broadway is shut down right now, so this was the perfect way to pay tribute to the shows of the Great White Way while we can’t see them live.

Al Roker Had Contact with Coronavirus, So He's Doing the Weather Report From His Home Quarantine

Al Roker, and his Today show co-host Craig Melvin, are staying home from the morning show for a few days after a staffer was diagnosed with Coronavirus.

Well, Al, who has been the longtime weather man for the NBC show, decided he wanted to do the weather report from his home quarantine!

Craig and Al are out once again — we’re just being super, super cautious,” Savannah Guthrie explained. “There was a 9 o’clock employee, someone on the 3rd hour of Today, who tested positive for the virus. Craig and Al had some contact, so we’re just, out of an abundance of caution, keeping them home.”

“But they feel good. In fact, Al feels so good that he wants to do the weather,” Savannah said, before sending it over to him to give his weather report!

“I didn’t have to commute in, so I did sleep in!” Al said. “We’ve kind of jerry-rigged this system, so I’ve got all my graphics and everything I need.”
