Aziz Ansari is tired of his parents – Fatima and Shoukath – getting more praise than him for starring in his hit Netflix show, Master of None.
While making an appearance on Late Night on Thursday evening (May 11), host Seth Meyers expressed that the thing he “loves the most” was that Aziz‘s actual parents play his parents in the show.

“That’s what everyone loves, no one cares about me,” Aziz joked. “My dad is always asking for a higher pay or something.
That same evening, Aziz hit the red carpet with his parents Fatima and Shoukath at the premiere of Master Of None season two held at SVA Theatre in New York City.
Also in attendance were co-stars Danielle Brooks, Kelvin Yu, Alessandra Mastronardi, Eric Wareheim, Alan Yang, and co-creator and executive producer and Lena Waithe.
