The official trailer for the upcoming Prime Video series Swarm has arrived and it shows the murderous lengths an obsessed fan will go.

Dominique Fishback stars in the new series from showrunner Janine Nabers and Donald Glover, who directed the pilot episode. Malia Obama is one of the writers on the show!

Swarm, set between 2016-2018, follows Dre (Fishback), an obsessed fan of the world’s biggest pop star who sets off on an unexpected cross-country journey. The series will also feature guest stars Chloe Bailey as Dre’s sister, Marissa, and Damson Idris as Marissa’s boyfriend, Khalid. Additional guest stars include, Rickey Thompson, Paris Jackson, Rory Culkin, Kiersey Clemons, and Byron Bowers.

“Dre and Marissa are in their 20s and Malia is in her 20s, so it was really great having someone like her in the room,” Janine told VF. “She’s a very professional person. She’s an incredible writer and artist. We really wanted to give her the opportunity to get her feet wet in TV and see if this is something she wants to continue doing.”

Amazon created a Super Bowl commercial about a dog that is going to tug at your heartstrings.

In the ad, a dog tears up a family’s house every time they leave him at home alone. It’s clear that they love the dog, but when we see them look up a dog kennel on Amazon, it almost seems they might be getting ready to bring him to a shelter.

Well, the commercial has the best possible twist ending.

Reacher is a huge fan favorite on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service, and it is returning for another season.

Now, we’ve learned that two of the characters will definitely be returning for more episodes, but some others are still up in the air.

Showrunner Nick Santora recently confirmed that characters could come and go, saying, “I will say this, and I’m not trying to be coy or cute: You never know if a character might come back. We might come up with a great idea and say, ‘You know what? Maybe that character can work in Season 2 or Season 3,’ and then you bring them back for a bit or for an extended visit. (But) Reacher is not a character who runs around with an entourage. He’s a lone wolf, so you have to stay true to that.”

Phoebe Waller-Bridge has been linked to a planned revival of the popular video game franchise Tomb Raider at Amazon.

The 37-year-old Fleabag actress and writer would reportedly not be playing Lara Croft, a role played by Angelina Jolie on the big screen in 2001 and other actresses over the years, in the new TV series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Instead, she is expected to helm the script. She is also expected to serve as an executive producer on the show. Her involvement was described as a sign of her continued partnership with Amazon.

The trailer for the second and final season of Carnival Row has been released!

Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne return for the final season of the Amazon Prime Video fantasy series, which will premiere in February.

Here’s the synopsis: “In a fantasy world where humans and creatures clash, Season Two of Carnival Row picks up with former inspector Rycroft Philostrate aka Philo (Bloom) investigating a series of gruesome murders stoking social tension. Vignette Stonemoss (Delevingne) and the Black Raven plot payback for the unjust oppression inflicted by The Burgue’s human leaders, Jonah Breakspear (Arty Froushan) and Sophie Longerbane (Caroline Ford). Tourmaline Larou (Karla Crome) inherits supernatural powers that threaten her fate and the future of The Row. And, after escaping The Burgue and her vengeful brother Ezra (Andrew Gower), Imogen Spurnrose (Tamzin Merchant) and her partner Agreus Astrayon (David Gyasi) encounter a radical new society which upends their plans. Amazon’s Prime Video made a lot of renewal and cancellation decisions in 2022, and we’re hoping for a much calmer 2023 with few axed TV shows!

This year, the streamer has announced that several of their TV shows have been renewed for additional seasons and five of their TV shows have been officially cancelled. In addition, 2 shows are coming to an end in 2023.

Bernard Hill, who appeared in two of the three original Lord of the Rings movies, 2002′s The Two Towers and 2003′s The Return of the King, is not a fan of the Amazon Prime Video series, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which was released this past September.

If you don’t know, the show is based thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien‘s trilogy. Bernard portrayed the role of King Théoden in the films.
