Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn pose with their trophies while attending the 2024 CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards held at Caesars Palace on Thursday (April 11) in Las Vegas.

The A Quiet Place: Day One co-stars were both honored individually at the event, along with fellow actors Geena Davis, Amy Poehler, Dan Stevens, Ariana Greenblatt and Dennis Quaid, as well as filmmaker Shawn Levy.

Lupita received the CinemaCon Star of the Year Award; Joseph was awarded Breakthrough Performer of the Year; Geena received the Viola Davis Trailblazer Award; Amy received the Vanguard Award; Dan was awarded with the Award of Excellence in Acting; Ariana got the Rising Star Award; Dennis was awarded with the Icon Award; and Shawn received the Director of the Year Award.

Over the past few days, several of the above actors attended different presentations to tease their upcoming movies at the annual convention.

Disney has released the official trailer for Inside Out 2 and so many more cast members have been announced for the sequel.

The upcoming Pixar movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 14 and we can’t wait!

Inside Out 2 returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone.

Amy Poehler is returning as the voice of Joy, but some stars from the first movie won’t be back and have been replaced. More than 20 other cast members have been revealed today!

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are bringing Saturday Night Live to the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards!

The two former SNL cast members presented the award for Outstanding Variety Special on Monday (January 15) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Instead of standing plainly on stage with a microphone like most presenters, Amy and Tina brought an entire “Weekend Update” set with them, which is a nod to the popular segment featured in each episode of SNL.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler‘s love for Saturday Night Live is still going strong!

If you didn’t know, the two actresses were previously recurring cast members on the late night show. Tina, 53, appeared on SNL from 2000 to 2006, while Amy‘s tenure lasted from 2001 to 2008.

Tina recently shared that she and Amy, 52, tune into SNL while traveling together for their “Tina Fey & Amy Poehler: Restless Leg Tour.”

NBC’s political satire comedy series Parks and Recreation, aka Parks and Rec, aired for seven seasons, across six years.

The mockumentary-style series first premiered in April 2009 and wrapped up in February 2015.
