Ang Lee, the Oscar-winning director of Life of Pi and Brokeback Mountain, is set to direct a film about the Chinese-American martial arts icon, according to a new report.
Ang Lee‘s son Mason Lee is set to star in the film, according to Variety.

Will Smith is hard at working promoting his new movie in Japan!
The 51-year-old actor stepped out for the premiere of Gemini Man on Thursday night (October 17) at Toho Cinemas Roppongi in Tokyo, Japan.

Will Smith is promoting his new film!
The 51-year-old actor joined Ang Lee, Jerry Bruckheimer, Clive Owen, VFX supervisors Bill Westenhofer and Guy Williams at the Gemini Man global press conference at YouTube Space on Friday (October 4) in Los Angeles.
The movie opens in theaters on October 11.
Here’s a plot summary: Will Smith is Henry Brogan, an elite assassin, who is suddenly targeted and pursued by a mysterious young operative that seemingly can predict his every move. Click here to watch the trailer!

Will Smith appears alongside director Ang Lee at a Microsoft fireside chat event on Thursday (October 3) in Redmond, Wash.
The 51-year-old actor received a surprise visit from Seattle Seahawks player Bobby Wagner at the event and he was gifted with a jersey.
Will recently discussed how Ang made him appear younger for his dual roles in the new movie Gemini Man, out in theaters October 11.
“What Ang did is he looked through my filmography and he created takes of things — Fresh Prince, Men in Black, Independence Day — I was like yo, this is great, this guy’s a real fan. And he went through and he’d grab these things and he sat me down and was like, ‘This is great, look at how your eyes communicate, it’s the essence of innocence.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, yeah, that’s what I was doing.’ Then he’d go, ‘This one is very, very bad. Do not do this in my movie,’” Will said (via SFGate.com).
“I knew scientifically in my head it should work,” Ang added. “I called it a leap of faith. I was extremely nervous, not for myself, but for investors. It’s a privilege to imitate God’s work and to play with animation.”

Ang Lee‘s upcoming Gemini Man has officially been given a 2019 release date!
Paramount Studios announced that the upcoming clone assassin flick will hit theaters on October 4, 2019.
Will Smith is set to star in the film as “an aging assassin who tried to get out of the business but finds himself in the ultimate battle: fighting his own clone who is 25 years younger than him and at the peak of his abilities,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Gemini Man has been pitched around to studios for decades, but visual effect technology couldn’t allow an actor to realistically play two different ages.
Now in 2017, studios can now “de-age” actors just like how they have with Brad Pitt in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Robert Downey Jr in Captain America: Civil War.
Kristen Stewart stuns in head-to-toe white while attending the premiere of her movie Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk held during the 2016 New York Film Festival on Friday (October 14) at AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City.
The 26-year-old actress also made an appearance on the AOL Build Series earlier that day, along with co-stars Chris Tucker, Steve Martin, Joe Alwyn, and director Ang Lee.

John Krasinski is mighty fine in a suit while attending the 2016 Academy Award Nominations Announcement at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Thursday (January 14) in Los Angeles.
The 36-year-old actor was joined by Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs and directors Ang Lee and Guillermo del Toro to announce who earned a nod this year.
