Time's Person of the Year 2015 Revealed: German Chancellor Angela Merkel

Time has announced it’s annual Person of the Year list for 2015 and coming it at number one is Angela Merkel, the current Chancellor of Germany.

The mag also released who made the shortlist: (2) Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of ISIS, (3) Donald Trump, (4) The Black Lives Matter Activists, (5) Iran President Hassan Rouhani, (6) Uber CEO Travis Kalanick and (7) Caitlyn Jenner.

“Over the last couple of months, I got to the point where I’m very comfortable with myself and where I’m at, but what does all this mean? It’s more than makeup and clothes and all that other stuff. And what is that? I’m working on that. There’s still a lot to learn about being a woman,” Caitlyn told the mag. “What a responsibility I have towards this community. I just hope I get it right…. I am not a spokesperson for the trans community. I am a spokesperson for my story and that’s all I can tell. And hopefully by telling my story, I can make people think.”
