Anthony Anderson is returning to the Law & Order franchise!
The 51-year-old actor, who just wrapped up filming on the final season of black-ish, will return as Detective Kevin Bernard, in the newly revived series, NBC announced.
Joining Anthony on the series is Hugh Dancy, will take on a brand new detective role.

Anthony Anderson is weighing in on the return of Law & Order.
If you’re unfamiliar, the 51-year-old actor starred as Detective Kevin Bernard, who had started out as an Internal Affairs Detective, before joining Cyrus Lupo as Junior Partner in the 18th, 19th and 20th seasons of the long-running series.
Now, with the announcement of a revival of the flagship show, Anthony opened up about a possible return.

Rainbow & Dre Johnson have arrived at the 2021 Emmy Awards!
Black-ish co-stars Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson walked the red carpet separately while arriving at the awards show on Sunday (September 19) held at The Event Deck at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

For the red carpet, Tracee, 48, rocked a shimmering red dress while Anthony, 51, sported a silk rose gold and black floral-print tuxedo jacket.
Tracee and Anthony are both nominated for their Lead Acting roles in Black-ish, while the show is nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Justin Hartley and wife Sofia Pernas couple up for the Television Academy’s Reception to Honor 73rd Emmy Award Nominees held at Television Academy on Friday (September 17) in Los Angeles.
The This Is Us actor was joined by his co-star, Chris Sullivan, and his wife Rachel at the event.
Other stars spotted at the event include Black-ish‘s Anthony Anderson and Miles Brown, Yvette Nicole Brown, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Jamie Lee, Eliza Bennett, Laz Alonso, Rickey Minor, Bobby Berk, paralympian Jessica Long, Karen Fukuhara, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, and Brendan Scannell.

The stars are showing their support for the 2021 Stand Up to Cancer telethon.
Anthony Anderson, Sofia Vergara, along with Ken Jeong and wife Tran Ho served as co-hosts for the event, which took place on Saturday night (August 21), and was streamed on YouTube.
Stars making appearances during the event included journalist Katie Couric, Grey’s Anatomy actress Chandra Wilson, The Office actor Ed Helms, New Girl actor Max Greenfield, Pose actress MJ Rodriguez, comedian Iliza Shlesinger, SNL‘s Cecily Strong, Veep actor Tony Hale, Jane the Virgin actor Jaime Camil, black-ish actor Deon Cole, and Designated Survivor actress Italia Ricci.
During the event, Common and Stevie Wonder teamed up for a performance.
Reese Witherspoon produced the event with husband Jim Toth, which helped raise funds for cancer research.
Also during the telethon, Chadwick Boseman‘s wife Simone performed a moving tribute to her late husband.

Jason Momoa stripped down during his interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The 41-year-old Aquaman actor took his shirt off during a segment called, “Can Jason Momoa Make it Sexy?”
Jason chatted with guest host Anthony Anderson, who also decided to go shirtless during the interview. Anthony “challenged him to use his sheer animal magnetism to make boring, everyday activities sexy.”
Some of the things that Jason was challenged to included putting on hand sanitizer, opening a can of tuna, and ironing a shirt. You’ve gotta watch the funny video!
