Brand new character posters for Asteroid City were just released!

Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, and Tom Hanks are featured on the brand new posters, which were released just after the Cannes Film Festival premiere of the flick.

In addition to the posters, three new clips were also revealed.

Here’s the official synopsis of the film: The itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention — organized to bring together students and parents from across the country for fellowship and scholarly competition — is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events.

Jeffrey Wright, Tilda Swinton, Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Liev Schreiber, Hope Davis, Stephen Park, Rupert Friend, Maya Hawke, Steve Carell, Matt Dillon, Hong Chau, Willem Dafoe, Margot Robbie, Tony Revolori, Jake Ryan, and Jeff Goldblum will also star.

The film will be released in select theaters on Friday, June 16th and nationwide on Friday, June 23rd.

Scarlett Johansson and Maya Hawke showed off their unique senses of style while attending a photocall for their new movie Asteroid City at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 24) in Cannes, France.

The 38-year-old Black Widow actress wore a magenta, orange and black mod striped dress with a flared hemline while posing for photos outside the Palais des Festivals. She pulled her hair back in an elegant updo and finished things up with chunky black heels.

The 24-year-old Stranger Things actress went in a different direction, wearing double denim with large gold buttons running down the front of her jacket and pants.

They were joined by several other co-stars and director Wes Anderson.

The debut trailer for Wes Anderson‘s newest film, Asteroid City, is finally here!

The film takes place in a fictional American desert town circa 1955.
