James Cameron will be spending the next six years working on the next three movies in the Avatar franchise after spending the past decade working on the franchise.
Now, the legendary director says that he “mourns” all of the other stories that he hasn’t been able to make because of his commitment to Avatar.
The first Avatar film was released in 2009 and James confirmed the sequels were happening in 2010. Avatar: The Way of Water just came out in theaters and the next three movies are scheduled for release in 2024, 2026, and 2028.
