These 13 'Avengers: Endgame' Stars Are Getting Awards Campaigns from Disney

Disney is hoping that Avengers: Endgame will get some nominations at the 2020 Oscars and the list of actors that will get awards campaigns has been revealed.

13 of the lead actors (out of nearly 50 major Marvel stars who appeared in the film) are getting For Your Consideration placement.

It was widely expected that Robert Downey Jr. would be campaigned in the Leading Actor category, but he will be placed in the Supporting Actor category with the rest of the guys. There are eight actors up for Best Supporting Actor and five actresses up for Best Supporting Actress. The list includes several previous Oscar winners and nominees!

'Avengers: Endgame' Oscars 2020 Campaign Has Launched & There Are a Few Names Notably Missing!

Disney has started to launch their campaigns for their 2019 films that are eligible for the 2020 Academy Awards.

There’s a newly launched webpage that highlights what categories movies are being submitted in, and surprisingly, none of the actors in Avengers: Endgame are listed.

Many believed Robert Downey, Jr. would at least be given nomination consideration due to the global response to Iron Man’s story line in the film. It’s important to note that more names could be added to this list at a later date.

'Avengers: Endgame' Is Being Rereleased With New Footage!

Avengers: Endgame is coming back for more!

The box office record-smashing Marvel movie is returning to theaters with brand new footage, president Kevin Feige told ScreenRant on Wednesday (June 19).

“Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises,” he revealed.

Further specifics about the new footage were not yet revealed.

He also said that the rerelease will hit theaters on June 28, although it’s unclear which theaters, and for how long, the new cut will appear.

'Avengers' Stars Break No Camera Rule in Funny Behind-the-Scenes Videos on Set - Watch!

The stars of Avengers: Endgame couldn’t stay off of their phones!

While there was a strict “no camera” policy on set, the stars of the massively popular Marvel movie revealed in hilarious behind-the-scenes clips shared on social media on Thursday (June 6) that they didn’t always listen to the rules.

Both Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo shared videos of themselves joking around on set with co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Tom Holland.

“We took the ‘no camera’ rule VERY seriously,” Mark wrote on his Twitter.

“We’re filming a wedding, they said,” he added with a series of pictures from the set.

'John Wick 3' Topples 'Avengers: Endgame' at the Box Office

Avengers: Endgame has been unseated at the box office after three weeks at No. 1 – and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum is now on top.

The Keanu Reeves and Halle Berry-starring movie debuted with a $57 million opening weekend box office, according to Variety on Sunday (May 19).

John Wick 3 beat out both of the previous two movies in the series: 2014′s John Wick brought in $14.4 million and 2017′s John Wick: Chapter 2 earned $30.4 million.

Avengers earned $29.4 million in its fourth weekend, bringing its total to $771 million in North America. It is now the second-highest grossing movie of all time at the domestic box office, just behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
