'A Grammy Salute to the Beach Boys' on CBS - Performers, Celebrity Guests & Song List Revealed!

The Beach Boys are being honored in a big way!

A GRAMMY Salute To The Beach Boys airs on Sunday (April 9) at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, featuring a ton of superstars paying tribute to the classic band.

The special will run from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET, and features a lineup of stars all performing Beach Boys classics celebrating six decades of their influential career.

You can watch it on CBS, and the event will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+. A one-hour version of the tribute will air on MTV at a future date to be announced as well.

Brian Wilson Asking Fans to Boycott Beach Boys Over Hunting Event Show With Donald Trump Jr.

Brian Wilson is urging fans to boycott The Beach Boys.

The 77-year-old musician – who co-founded The Beach Boys and wrote or co-wrote over two dozen Top 40 hits for the group – took to Instagram on Monday (February 3) to voice his concerns.

“It has been brought to my attention that on Wednesday February 5, The Beach Boys touring group licensed by Mike Love are headlining at the Safari Club International Convention in Reno, Nevada,” Brian Wilson wrote.

“This organization supports trophy hunting, which Both Al and I are emphatically opposed to,” he added. “There’s nothing we can do personally to stop the show, so please join us in signing the petition at https://www.change.org/p/beach-boys-stop-supporting-trophy-hunting (LINK IN BIO).”

The convention will also feature a keynote speech by Donald Trump Jr.

Beach Boys Invited to Perform at Trump Inauguration, Will Consider Taking Gig

The Beach Boys have been invited to perform at the inauguration festivities for Donald Trump next month and the band is considering taking the gig.

The band’s rep has released a statement saying that they have not yet decided if they will take the job or not.

The Beach Boys have been asked to perform as part of the inauguration festivities. But no decision has been made at this point as to how or whether they will participate. We will let you know as soon as a decision is final,” the rep told Billboard.

Celine Dion just joined the growing list of stars who have turned down the President-elect’s invitation to perform at his inauguration.

Mark Wahlberg Shows Support for Families of Fallen Soldiers

Mark Wahlberg shares a smile while attending the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces Gala last week at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 44-year-old actor was joined at the event by Liev Schreiber, Antonio Banderas, Jason Alexander, David Foster, and Gene Simmons and his wife Shannon Tweed, who all came to support the organization which offers educational, social, cultural, and economic services for Israel’s soldiers and the families of fallen soldiers.

The event featured a performance from the legendary Beach Boys and impromptu songs from Jason, who sang Barbra Streisand‘s “Memories,” as well as songs from Gene and David.
