Betty Who: 'The Valley' Album Stream & Download - Listen Here!

Betty Who‘s brand new album titled The Valley has finally arrived, and you can stream it right here!

The 13-track LP features the singles “Mama Say” and “Some Kinda Wonderful,” as well as the 25-year-old Australian singer’s cover of the Donna Lewis classic “I Love You Always Forever.”

“This album has so much of me in it. The good, the bad, the devastated, the euphoric…,” Betty captioned with her Instagram post. “And I’ve been waiting to share it with you for years now. AND WE’RE FINALLY HERE! I am so proud of how many people put so much hard work into this album, and I hope you love it as much as I do. Let me know what your favourite songs are and, most importantly, why! I love hearing your stories. I love being a part of your lives. I am so grateful to do what I do and am so honoured to get to do it all over again with this album.”

“In case you didn’t know already, this is totally my ode to Britney Spears,” Betty told the Independent. “If you listen to the lyrics, half of them are hinting at Britney songs I’ve always loved. And then of course there’s the bridge where I literally feel like I’m walking through the cascading rain of the 2001 Live In Las Vegas HBO special she did wearing a clear cowboy hat with a boa constrictor around my neck.”

“Listening to that song, I got a lovely warm feeling about recollections of my childhood,” Betty told Vogue. “And so I rediscovered it a couple years ago and it came on one of my shuffle playlists or something, and I was like, holy shit, I love this song and I haven’t heard it in 10 years; I’m freaking out. And so when I brought it up to somebody, saying, ‘Hey, I think I want to cover this song,’ they were like, ‘Oh my god, I’ve been trying to get somebody to do this for years, which would make me so happy.’ I was like, I have to do this.”

“I wanted to make a video that was like a soft moment and basically love people around me and explore that in a way,” the 24-year-old singer told Vogue. “That to me is what the song is about�”loving someone unconditionally no matter what, and exploring the idea that love is unconditional no matter who you’re loving, whether it’s your dog or your mother or your best friend or boyfriend or girlfriend or husband.”
