Bill Nye keeps showing up in the most unexpected places!

The 61-year-old mechanical engineer and television personality recently ran into some bikini-clad fans during an elevator ride…but it gets even funnier.

Right before Bill stepped on the elevator, the group of girls were recording themselves dancing and twerking in the mirror and Bill totally caught them!

The gal pals quickly realized it was Bill and let out a collective gasp before he gave the group a small wave.

“Bill Nye just walked into our elevator while I was snapchatting,” one of the girls wrote on her Twitter.

We’re dying to know how the rest of the elevator ride went!

Bill Nye has a squad that you totally wouldn’t expect!

The 61-year-old mechanical engineer and television personality was spotted hanging by the pool with Public Enemy‘s Flavor Flav during a scorching afternoon in Los Angeles.

The group was also joined by the Sex Pistols‘ lead guitarist Steve Jones and a female friend.

Steve took to his Instagram to share a photo of the group, writing, “Man it’s hot! Glad i got a pool.”

Bill also shared a photo with Flavor Flav as the duo showed off their watches, adding, “I frequently make time for science.”

We have no idea how this group ended up together but we’re sure glad they did!

Mandy Moore looked tres chic at the 2017 College Television Awards!

The 33-year-old singer and actress sported black and white with a bright pop of lipstick for the event held at Wolf Theatre at the Saban Media Center on Wednesday (May 24) in Los Angeles.

We’re also loving the touch of bows and pearls on her heels.

She was joined by Bethany Mota, Bill Nye, Samira Wiley, Anthony Anderson, Antoinette Robertson, Benito Martinez, Kether Donohue, Logan Browning, and Tichina Arnold.

“On my way to present at the #collegetvawards (with the one and only Mr. Ron Cephas Jones) and Jackson the dog was on full guard duty,” Mandy captioned the Instagram slideshow below, featuring herself and her four-legged friend posing in front of a stunning backdrop. “Anyhow…. excited to honor the next wave of talented young people in our industry tonight! 🎉�’�🎉”

Bill Nye the Science Guy’s new Netflix show, Bill Nye Saves the World, now has a theme song!

The tune was inspired by the original ’90s version, with a twist by Tyler the Creator.

The new jingle is shorter than the original song – 12 seconds long compared to 30 seconds.

“The first (theme song) is really sick,” Tyler the Creator said in a Netflix video. “You take out the snare, it could be a house song.”

Bill Nye is the star of Persil ProClean‘s 2017 Super Bowl Commercial!

The beloved science educator and television personality won’t be losing any more lab coats to pesky stains thanks to the company’s new formula.

When a science experiment blows up, Bill is able to clean his lab coat with the help of the formula’s “10 Dimensions of Clean.”

The commercial was directed by actress Elizabeth Banks, making her Super Bowl commercial directorial debut.

“I jumped at the opportunity to work with Persil, Bill Nye and the stain fighting Professional, Peter Hermann. The unlikely duo are a perfect fit for Persil ProClean detergent’s new PRO10 formula,” Elizabeth said.

Bill Nye (yes, the science guy) may be considering a new career!

The 61-year-old beloved science educator and television personality made his modeling debut during 2017 New York Fashion Week: Men’s on Tuesday (January 31) in New York City.

Bill strutted his stuff in a metallic space shuttle print suit during Nick Graham‘s fashion show, who he once collaborated with on a line of bow ties.

He was also joined in the show by former astronaut Buzz Aldrin.

And not only did Bill rule the runway once, but he did it twice! The following day, he walked in the inaugural Blue Jacket Fashion Show, which benefited the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Zachary Quinto shows off his big beard while posing for photographs at the special Cinema Society screening of The Space Between Us held at The Landmark Sunshine Theater on Wednesday evening (January 25) in New York City.

The 39-year-old actor was joined at the event by the stars of the flick Carla Gugino and Asa Butterfield, as well as Bill Nye, Tony winner Lena Hall, Homeland‘s Sarita Choudhury and Neil deGrasse Tyson, who all came out to show their support. The stars later stepped out for a party at the Jimmy at the James Hotel.
