'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever': The Reviews Are In - What Are the Critics Saying?

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever opens in theaters on November 11, and the first reviews are already in from critics!

In the film, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba) fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of Talokan, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livinalli.

Following the movie’s big premiere on Thursday (October 28), critics are now weighing in on the highly anticipated 2022 sequel to Black Panther.

Rihanna & A$AP Rocky Walk First Red Carpet as Parents at 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' Premiere

Rihanna is making a glamorous return to the red carpet!

The 34-year-old entertainer and her love A$AP Rocky posed together on the red carpet at the premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiere on Wednesday (October 26) held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.

For the event, Rihanna shimmered in a multi-toned dress with long, tan leather gloves while the 34-year-old “Sundress” rapper coordinated a tan denim outfit.

This is the first red carpet Rihanna and Rocky have walked together since welcoming their son back in May.

The couple’s appearance at the Wakanda Forever premiere comes shortly after Rihanna officially confirmed that she will be making her return to music on the soundtrack for the new Marvel movie!

Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther, opened up about how Chadwick Boseman‘s death almost led to him leaving the industry.

The 36-year-old director worked with Chadwick on the 2018 entry to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He revealed in a recent interview that he almost left Hollywood after Chadwick passed away in August 2020.

The new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is finally here!

The trailer teases who the next Black Panther will be after the death of King T’Challa, played by the late Chadwick Boseman. Chadwick passed away in August 2020 after battling colon cancer at the young age of 43.

It appears from the trailer that Shuri will be the new Black Panther. The trailer also teases the new character Namor, who can be seen flying, as well as the Ironheart Armor. The trailer also seems to tease multiverse dimensions to Wakanda.

Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira & Letitia Wright Reflect On Honoring Chadwick Boseman & 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'

Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira & Letitia Wright opened up about honoring Chadwick Boseman‘s memory and the impending release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The trio play Nakia, Okoye and Shuri respectively in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They appeared alongside Chadwick in 2018′s Black Panther and are reprising their roles in the forthcoming sequel.

While speaking with Elle UK, they revealed how they honored the late actor’s memory, working together and what they’ve learned from being part of the MCU.
