Michael Phelps is joined on the red carpet by wife Nicole Johnson and son Boomer as they arrive at the Golden Goggles Awards on Monday night (November 21) at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

The 31-year-old Olympian was honored with three awards – including USA Swimming’s 2016 Male Athlete of the Year – during the night for his achievements in swimming this year.

Michael was joined at the event by his relay-team members Caeleb Dressel, Ryan Held, and Nathan Adrian.

Inside the event, Michael opened up about his secret wedding to Nicole earlier this year.

Michael Phelps is already enjoying his official retirement from professional swimming!

The 31-year-old Olympian is back home after winning five gold medals at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics and is spending quality time with his family.

“There’s nothing like being back home!! Great way to spend my first day in retirement!! @boomerrphelps @nicole.m.johnson,” Michael captioned an Instagram photo of himself in the pool with fiance Nicole Johnson and their son Boomer.

Michael Phelps got a very special congratulations after placing first in the Men’s 200m Individual Semi-Finals during the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics at the Olympic Aquatics Stadium on Wednesday (August 10) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The 31-year-old swimmer’s son Boomer, who has his own Instagram account, boasted a cute “team daddy” shirt in a new photo.

“Way to go daddy!!!! #usa #rio2016 #pantsonfleek,” the pic was captioned, which you can see below.

Michael will be competing in the finals tomorrow night, August 11, for his fourth straight Gold medal after winning it in the 2004 Athens Games, 2008 Beijing Games, and 2012 London Games.

Michael Phelps gives his three-month-old son Boomer a kiss after winning his 20th gold medal at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics on Tuesday (August 9) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The 31-year-old swimmer jumped into the stands after the medal ceremony at the event and he gave kisses to his son, his fiancee Nicole Johnson, and his mom Debbie Phelps.

Michael won two gold medals that night in the Men’s 200m Butterfly Final and the Men’s 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay. In the second race, he ripped his cap right before swimming!

The 31-year-old former beauty queen has been in attendance at all of Michael‘s events during the games so far alongside his mom Debbie Phelps.

Boomer, the couple’s first child, has been seen wearing patriotic earmuffs to guard his ears from the noise in the stadium.

Michael Phelps has a cheering squad at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics that includes his longtime girlfriend and the mother of his child, Nicole Johnson!

While some may have thought that she is his wife, the couple has not yet gotten married. They did get engaged last year though!

Michael and Nicole have dated on-and-off for over nine years and welcomed their first child together, a son named Boomer, back in May.

Nicole is a model and former beauty queen who received the title of Miss California USA back in 2010. She was also the runner-up for the title in 2007.
