Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell has been bringing cheer to the people of New York City every night by singing from his window/balcony… and he’s still going!

The legendary Tony-winning actor continues to sing the song “The Impossible Dream” every night after the 7pm cheer for healthcare workers.

These new photos were snapped on Wednesday (April 15) and the video below from YouTube was taken earlier in the week.

Brian tested positive for coronavirus last month and he has since recovered.

“When I finally got to the place where I was symptom free — I could take a deep breath without a cough — I started to sing for the healthcare workers and the responders,” he told the New York Daily News.

The first video of Brian singing from his window surfaced last week.

Brian Stokes Mitchell is providing entertainment to the people of New York City directly from the window of his Upper West Side apartment!

The 62-year-old Tony-winning actor, who recently revealed that he had tested positive for coronavirus, performed the classic song “The Impossible Dream” for all of his neighbors to hear.

Brian starred in the 2002 revival of the musical Man of La Mancha, which the song is from.

Brian Stokes Mitchell has revealed his diagnosis of the COVID-19 coronavirus in a candid video on social media.

The 62-year-old Broadway star, who is a Tony Award winning actor and chairman of the Actors Fund, opened up in his video to fans.

“The good news is that I’ve been isolating for the past few days,” Brian says, adding that his wife Allyson and son, Ellington, are “asymptomatic”.

He adds that “every day that has past, has been better than the previous. So, I’m pretty sure I’m over the hump.”

Brian joins a long list of celebrities who have also tested positive for the virus.

Tons of familiar Broadway faces took the stage for a performance at the 2016 Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night (July 27) in Philadelphia, Penn.

The star-studded line-up included Idina Menzel, Audra McDonald, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Darren Criss, Debra Messing, Kristen Bell, Tyne Daly, and Rosie Perez as they took turns singing parts of “What the World Needs Now Is Love” by Jackie DeShannon.

“Just finished singing w/my beautiful friend @idinamenzel – and a slew of others from the broadway community-at the #dnc ! We sang ‘what the world needs now’ and – SPOILER ALERT- its LOVE!!! This arena is on fire w/kindness and I’m honored to be here. I love my country. #lovetrumpshate,” Kristen later wrote on Instagram.

Audra McDonald is a fab flapper while performing on stage at the 2016 Tony Awards held at the Beacon Theatre on Sunday (June 12) in New York City.

The legendary Broadway actress was joined in the performance by her co-stars Brian Stokes Mitchell, Joshua Henry, Billy Parter, and nominees Brandon Victor Dixon and Adrienne Warren.

Brandon was nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical and Adrienne was nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical, but they both lost out to the stars of Hamilton.

Shuffle Along is nominated for a total of ten awards tonight, including Best Musical.

The theater legend, who has won Tony Awards in every possible acting category, was joined on stage by her co-stars Brian Stokes Mitchell, Billy Porter, Joshua Henry, and Brandon Victor Dixon, among others.

Audra is of course getting raves for her work.

“It goes without saying at this point that there’s nothing the superhuman McDonald can’t do onstage, but rarely do we get to see her cut loose in exuberant comedic mode to the extent she does here,” The Hollywood Reporter said. “Even beyond her numbers, McDonald kills it with her timing – every word, look or gesture smacks its target.”

Jennifer Hudson and Neil Patrick Harris are ready for a night of music at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts Opening Celebration on Saturday night (March 10) in Las Vegas.

The 38-year-old actor hosted the event, while Jennifer, in a Ralph & Russo couture dress and H Stern jewels, took the stage as the closing act of the evening, singing “Take Care of This House”.

Also hitting up the celebration were Cheyenne Jackson, who sang a duet on stage with Broadway’s Laura Osnes, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter star Benjamin Walker, and recent Glee guest star Brian Stokes Mitchell.
