Looks like Louis Tomlinson is loving being a new dad already!

The 23-year-old One Direction musician confirmed on Twitter that he and stylist Briana Jungwirth became new parents earlier this week.

“I’m pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday :) �’� He is healthy and pretty amazing :) I’m very happy!” Louis wrote to his fans and friends online.

He added later on, “Daddy daddy cool.”

Congratulations are in order for Louis Tomlinson – he has welcomed a son with Briana Jungwirth!

The baby boy was born this week in Los Angeles, according to People.

Louis and Briana had a brief relationship in May 2015 after his split from longtime girlfriend Eleanor Calder a couple months earlier. He is now dating The Originals actress Danielle Campbell.

An Instagram account reported to belong to Louis‘ grandmother posted this sweet message: “Louis just let Ur heart dance. U now have another you. A gift that will want to be just like YOU. Love him & my young grandchild that gave him to you. LET her know she’s special. She just wanted to love U not even knowing who U were or your profile Ur & reputation. Be free & just LIVE. Here’s what the 21-year-old One Direction singer had to share with Magic Radio’s Jo Parkerson:

On Louis: “Well, obviously I was a bit shocked, but he’s taken super well to it…[Briana Jungwirth]‘s a lovely girl.

On how Louis feels about becoming a dad: “He’s very excited with what’s going on with him at the moment and I feel that stuff like that happens sometimes. He’s taking it very seriously.”

On Zayn: “I haven’t spoken to him recently and he’s off doing his own thing and taking his time. It is a difficult thing to leave the band, but his heart wasn’t in it. You have to go with your heart and say, ‘I can’t do this anymore’ and ‘There is something out there that I do want to do that is different,’ and that’s fine.”

Now that it’s been revealed that Louis Tomlinson is expecting a child, everyone wants to know more about the baby’s mother Briana Jungwirth!

Louis Tomlinson is reportedly going to be a dad – he is expecting a baby with Briana Jungwirth!

The 23-year-old One Direction singer met the Los Angeles-based stylist earlier this year through mutual friends. He split from his longtime girlfriend Eleanor Calder back in March.

“Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother. It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer,” a mutual friend of the couple told People.

The baby is due next year and Louis wants to be a “hands-on dad.”

“Louis and Briana care about each other very much and have spent a lot of time together privately over the last few months,” the source added. “They are both really happy and although they aren’t in a relationship, their friendship is extremely strong and they are both really excited about the baby. It’s early days and Briana and the baby’s health are the most important things right now.”
