Brittney Griner and wife Cherelle are going to be parents!

On Saturday (April 13), the 33-year-old WNBA star and her wife announced that Cherelle is pregnant with their first child.

“Can’t believe we’re less than three months away from meeting our favorite human being 🤍 #BabyGrinerComingSoon #July2024,” Brittney and Cherelle wrote in a shared post on Instagram.

Basketball star Brittney Griner has officially made her Met Gala debut alongside wife Cherelle Griner.

The 32-year-old athlete walked the steps outside of the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the 2023 Met Gala on Monday night (May 1) in New York City.

Brittney Griner Speaks At Press Conference For the First Time Since Detainment in Russia

Brittney Griner spoke in her first press conference since being released in December after a 10-month detainment in Russia.

The 32-year-old WNBA star said that she will not play overseas again unless it is with the U.S. national team at the Olympics.

Brittney attended the press conference in Phoenix wearing a black T-shirt with the phrase “bring our families home.”

Brittney Griner Signs New Basketball Deal After Russian Imprisonment

Brittney Griner is heading back to the basketball court.

The 32-year-old athlete, who was famously held in a Russian jail for 10 months for drug possession charges a year ago, has inked a new deal with the WNBA, via Deadline.

Brittney signed a one-year deal with the Phoenix Mercury, according to AP.

The news comes after she was arrested an airport outside of Moscow, which made international headlines.

She last played for the Mercury in 2021 and helped the team head to the WNBA Finals, averaging 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds that season.

She has largely stayed outside of the public spotlight, aside from appearances at the Super Bowl, the Phoenix Open, and an MLK Day event in Phoenix, Arizona, where she lives.
