Obama Had Bruno Mars at His July 4th Party in 2015, Trump Had a Guy Singing Bruno Mars in 2020

The star power at the parties thrown by President Obama and President Trump are much different!

Despite the pandemic, Trump still hosted a Fourth of July party at the White House on Saturday (July 4) in Washington, D.C.

Footage from the event aired on television and a clip of a man singing Bruno Mars‘ song “Uptown Funk” is going viral. Why? Because Bruno himself was the performer at Obama‘s Fourth of July party at the White House in 2015.

People on Twitter pointed out how the seats in the audience at Trump‘s party looked almost completely empty, though photos did show more people in attendance at other portions of the event.

Trump was pictured attending the event alongside his wife Melania. You can see photos in the gallery.
