Bryan Cranston Recalls Nearly Killing 'The Office' Cast When He Directed an Episode - Watch!

Bryan Cranston is looking back at his time on the set of The Office.

On Monday (June 13), the 66-year-old Breaking Bad actor appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert where he recalled directing the “Work Bus” episode of the NBC comedy, which the cast jokingly renamed “Death Bus” because they all almost died during filming.

Daniel Craig & Ruth Negga Celebrate Opening Night for 'Macbeth' on Broadway!

Opening night has arrived for Daniel Craig and Ruth Negga‘s Broadway production of Macbeth!

The 54-year-old actor and the 40-year-old actress walked the red carpet together at the opening night performance of the play on Thursday (April 28) at the Longacre Theatre in New York City.

BillionsAsia Kate Dillon co-stars in the production and they were seen on the red carpet too!

Some of the celebs who attended the opening included Oscar Isaac and wife Elvira Lind, Bryan Cranston, Candice Bergen, Jeremy Strong, Danai Gurira, and Real HousewivesKandi Burress.

Daniel is back on stage after performances of Macbeth were canceled due to him testing positive for COVID-19.

A tale of malice, matrimony and murder, Macbeth tells the story of one couple’s obsession with power—and their guilt after doing the unthinkable. Ruth is making her Broadway debut in the role of Lady Macbeth while Daniel is returning to the stage as the title character.

The limited engagement is running through July 10.

Bryan Cranston Checks Out Two Broadway Openings in Three Days!

Bryan Cranston had a busy week on Broadway!

The Emmy and Tony-winning actor checked out the openings of two plays this week.

Bryan was in attendance for the opening of Manhattan Theatre Club’s How I Learned to Drive on Tuesday (April 19) and the new play Hangmen on Thursday (April 21) in New York City.

Also at the How I Learned to Drive opening were Marin Ireland, John Turturro, Kathy Najimy, Josh Hamilton, Saycon Sengbloh, and theater owner Jordan Roth, among others.

More stars at the Hangmen opening included Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria, Danny Strong, Jonny Beauchamp, Tony Shalhoub, Tovah Feldshuh, and playwright Martin McDonagh.

How I Learned to Drive was written by Paula Vogel and stars Mary-Louise Parker and David Morse. The play is about a woman coming to terms with a charismatic uncle who impacts her past, present and future life. Get tickets now for performances through May 29.

Hangmen stars Game of ThronesAlfie Allen in his Broadway debut. Here is the synopsis: “In his small pub in the North of England in the mid-1960s, Harry is something of a local celebrity. But what’s the second-best hangman in England to do on the day they’ve abolished hanging? Amongst the cub reporters and pub regulars, people are dying to hear Harry’s reaction to the news when an intriguing stranger, Mooney, from London -with a very different wardrobe and motive – enters their world.”

Get tickets now for Hangmen, which is on Broadway for a 10-week engagement through June 18.

Darren Criss, who just welcomed his first child into the world three days ago, is celebrating the opening of his Broadway play American Buffalo!

The 35-year-old actor and his co-stars Sam Rockwell and Laurence Fishburne took their opening night bows in front of a star-studded crowd at the Circle in the Square Theatre on Thursday (April 14) in New York City.

In American Buffalo, three small time hustlers want a bigger cut of the American dream. David Mamet’s classic about loyalty and greed returns to Broadway more explosive and pointed than ever, exposing a timely American truth: crime and business are two sides of the same coin.

Stars in attendance at the event included Sam‘s partner Leslie Bibb, as well as Angela Bassett, Josh Brolin, Bryan Cranston, Billy Crudup, Tony Goldwyn, Piper Perabo, Anthony Anderson, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Louisa Jacobson, Marin Ireland, Camryn Manheim, Callie Thorne, and Broadway star Victoria Clark.

Debra Messing Celebrates Opening Night of New Broadway Show 'Birthday Candles'

It’s a very big night for Debra Messing!

The 53-year-old Will & Grace actress celebrated the opening night of her new Broadway show Birthday Candles on Sunday (April 10) at the American Airlines Theatre in New York City.

Stars in attendance at the opening night show included Bryan Cranston, Hocus Pocus actress Kathy Najimy, Gossip Girl actress Margaret Collin, designer Christian Siriano, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actress Marin Hinkle, Law and Order: Organized Crime actor Dylan McDermott, In Living Color actress Ali Wentworth, L.A. Law actor Blair Underwood, and Mad About You actor Richard Kind.

Here’s the show synopsis: The existential dramedy stars Debra as “Ernestine Ashworth through nine decades of her life, the Will & Grace actress aging playing ages 17 to 107 — without the aid of prosthetics, makeup, or wigs — as the story follows Ernestine baking a simple butter cake on her birthday each year,” according to EW.

Birthday Candles was originally supposed to open in the spring of 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the Broadway show’s opening for over two years.
