Jude Law and Alicia Vikander step out for the photo call in support of their new movie Firebrand during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

The two stars met up with director Karim Aïnouz, and co-stars Sam Riley, Mina Andala, Amr Waked, Junia Rees, and Patrick Buckley for the event, which was followed by a press conference.

During the panel, Jude opened up about the lengths he went to in order to become King Henry VIII – he mixed a special scent with puss, blood, fecal matter and sweat. It was made special from a British perfumer for Jude for the movie.

“I thought it would have a great impact if I smelled awful,” he joked. “Because you could smell (the real) Henry three rooms away.”

Alicia added that “Every camera operator was hurling. Jude, you were really wonderfully terrifying!”

Just the night before, Jude and Alicia hit the red carpet for the premiere of the film.

A foot injury wasn’t going to keep Yubin Shin from walking the red carpet at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival!

The 28-year-old actress was spotted at the annual film festival, complete with her pair of studded crutches for three premieres over the weekend.

Yubin was first spotted in a gorgeous Sima Couture seafoam green gown at the Monster premiere. She had a bit of help getting into place for pictures before an assistant took her crutches away for them.

For the next event, The Zone Of Interest premiere, Yubin was seen with her crutches then too, but it was her outfit that did most of the talking.

She chose to walk barefoot for that premiere, paying homage to her Cambodian and Khmer cultures. Her dress featured the colors of the Cambodian flag and Yubin also wore a golden dragon wrapped around her, which has a deep link to the Khmer dynasties.

“I am committed to giving them the recognition they deserve by promoting them to the world,” she recently told Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam about promoting Cambodian culture. “…I hope to inspire people to visit Cambodia, study our rich cultural heritage, and bear witness to the breathtaking beauty that our country has to offer.”

For the latest premiere, Firebrand, Yubin was seen with her crutches in a deep, royal blue gown from Michael Cinco, which also featured thousands of laser cut flowers in the detail.

Marion Cotillard steps out in not just one, but two chic Chanel looks during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival over the weekend in France.

The 47-year-old stars as the mother in Mona Achache‘s docu-drama, Little Girl Blue, about her other mother.

“Through the power of filmmaking, Achache brings her mother back to life to retrace her journey and find out who she really was,” the description reads.

During a conversation with Deadline, Marion opened up about the movie and how she related to the story at the center. In addition, she also spoke about the #MeToo movement and admits that the industry still has a long way to go.

“I’ve been an actress for a long time; I was [put] in situations that I shouldn’t have been in…There still are some sick men, and women sometimes, who will take advantage of the youth, who will take advantage of the passion that we have as an actor, the fact that we depend on the desire of directors, producers,” she shared.

Marion then added that while progress is slow, it’s still moving forward.

“To know that today those young actresses know that this is not right, that if someone asks you something that you’re not comfortable with you can say ‘No.’ I didn’t know that when I was a young actress, it was a very different time,” she said.

Gigi Hadid and Irina Shayk had heads turning at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival this weekend!

The two models stunning in two very different, but equally striking looks on the red carpet at the Firebrand premiere on Sunday (May 21).

Irina and Gigi were joined by a handful of other models at the premiere, including Leonie Hanne, Toni Garrn, Josephine Skriver, Sabrina Elba, and Naomi Campbell.

Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson were also spotted on the red carpet for the movie premiere as special guests of Rémy Martin.

Firebrand, which stars Alicia Vikander and Jude Law, centers on Catherine Parr, who attempts to navigate English politics when she becomes King Henry VIII’s final wife.

Michelle Yeoh has taken over the 2023 Cannes Film Festival this weekend!

The 60-year-old recent Oscar winner walked the red carpet in between a few other events at the annual movie festival, wearing a gorgeous green gown from Balenciaga‘s couture collection.

Following her red carpet appearance for the Firebrand premiere on Sunday (May 21) in Cannes, France, Michelle was seen at the 2023 Kering Women in Motion Awards, alongside her long time partner, Jean Todt.

During a conversation with Variety at the festival, Michelle opened up about her recent Oscar win, and revealed the best thing about it.

“The best thing that has happened is I receive a script that doesn’t describe the character as a Chinese or Asian-looking person,” she shared. “We are actors. We are supposed to act. We are supposed to step into roles that are given to us and do our job as best we can. That, for me, is the biggest step forward.”

Ester Expósito is back at the Cannes Film Festival for her newest movie premiere!

The 23-year-old Elite actress hit the red carpet in a stunning gown on Thursday night (May 18), before switching up her look to a tattered white ensemble for the photocall for Perdidos En La Noche (Lost In the Night) on Friday (May 19).

Ester joined her co-stars Juan Daniel Garcia, Bárbara Mori, Fernando Bonilla, and director Amat Escalante at the event.

Perdidos En La Noche centers on Emiliano, who seeks to find out the truth about his mother’s disappearance five years earlier, when she was protesting against the construction of a mine in her town. This leads him to start a complicated relationship with the daughter of a wealthy family in the area.

Dua Lipa is all cozied up next to her new beau, Romain Gavras!

The 27-year-old singer walked the red carpet next to the 41-year-old director at the Omar La Fraise (The King of Algiers) premiere during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on Friday (May 19) in Cannes, France.

Dua and Romain were first linked together earlier this year, after being spotted at two parties together holding hands.

The couple were then seen leaving the Saint Laurent fashion show together by eagle-eyed fans.

Dua is at Cannes this week to launch a new collection with Versace.

Just recently, Dua co-hosted the recent 2023 Met Gala, and was pictured heading to an after party in her second chic look.
